i bought it to use outdoor connection to my POE camera. i need to trim a few feet to suit my needs, i found that four twisted pairs are nicely separated with a soft plastic plus shape separator, reducing crosstalk, wires are thick enough to carry POE current, wires are a bit tight to slot in into standard RJ45 crimping connectors but it works.

I was installing a Lorex 4k Security setup for a friend and had to run a line all they to the front of the property. This cable was a lot thicker and durable than those that came with the Lorex kit. Believe it or not I actually preferred to use this cable because it was easy to install. It wasn’t as coiled as the ones that came with the system were. Once I got connected, the camera powered right up with minimal latency. 100 feet was perfect. I was worried at first about some lag but everything worked fine. This is a very well made and the price made it all that much better.

Very, very happy this worked out supreme. Also excellent for many things that do better when they are directly plugged into the router as opposed to being used by Wi-Fi it is also a hell of a lot more safer from any stalker.

Cables worked well

I work from home and needed a direct connection to my router. The jack upstairs in my townhome does not work and in order to get it to work the cost would be $200. I ordered this cord and it reach’s from my router downstairs to my upstairs bedroom. It is perfect. And a fraction of the cost.

I bought these for my PoE HD cameras. With those I have a great signal without any noise on the camera. I truly recommend them.

I laid this cable for one of the POE cameras. I put the connector in a covered junction box. Only after 1 month, I see the plastic cover falling apart, it’s hard now and the cables are not strong enough to hold. This cable may be good for indoor use, but certainly not for outdoor. My money and the heck of effort wasted. Going to replace it with a proper outdoor cable.
