Living in northern Wisconsin, we go through a lot of fish and fish fries. This has just the right amount of heat to be a crowd pleaser. Way better than the Shore Lunch that’s sold everywhere. I first found house Audrey when Walmart up here was carrying it, but they stopped. So it’s on to Amazon.

I was so very pleased with this product. I pan fried fresh flounder with the House Autry Crunchy Fish Fry, it was perfect and I will reorder in the future.

I found out about this while down south and I fell in love with it so much so that I order it online since I can't find it in the north (nyc) fish shrimp a little corn meal and some house autry deepfry its a winner every time...fry and enjoy....

Unlike most batters which soften once the fish cools down, this batter stays crispy for hours after cooking. The only con is that it isn't very flavorful. You would have to add spices (garlic, paprika, salt, etc) otherwise it's pretty bland.

My fish fried up nicely, very crispy, and nice coloring. However it wasn’t as flavorful as I had hoped, had to to add seasonings to the fish before coating after my initial use. I’d buy it again.

Creates a thin crust

I like this as a light batter when deep frying fish. I just pat the dry batter right out of the package onto the fish. Very good, & easy too!
