Great fit on Singer 401a, 403a, and 500a Rocketeer
I refurbished a Singer 403a and it had aftermarket clip-on presser feet that did not fit well. I ordered this foot and I am very happy with it. The hole in the foot lines up well with the needle and throat plate. Build quality is good and the foot is smooth and there are no rough edges anywhere. This fits on my Singer 403a, I also tried it on a Singer 401a and Singer 500a Rocketeer and it fits well on those models. If I need another zig zag presser foot for a slant shank machine this will be what I go for.

I don't know why I waited so long to purchase a new presser foot. This works great and my machine is so much smoother now. Great value for the money. Looks like it'll last a long time.

A happy find!
I was delighted to find this. I have a 1960 Singer Slantomatic and this foot is identical to the original, which is beginning to show signs of wear after 65 years of use. This one may be a little lighter weight, but the same size and fits the machine just fine.

Shaft is to long.
Put this on my singer Athena and while I can make it work the shaftvis to long for the foot to be raises.
