LastSwab Basic Reusable Cotton Bud

Loved this product, i do not have wet and slimy ear wax, it pulled out everything well so it worked well for me but mine snapped in half so please make the stem more durable and also please restock i need to replace my broken one. ♡ thank you

I really really wanted to love this, but it just doesn't clean the ears at all and it's too firm so it hurts my ears. It's not absorbent, it just moves stuff around and after a week of using it, my ears were so sore I had to go back to the cotton buds and there was a lot of build up. I feel bad leaving a negative review because I love the concept and we should absolutely be doing more to help the environment but for now I'll have to stick to bamboo cotton buds. Hopefully I'll find another use for it because it's pretty pricey for an ear bud and I don't want to throw it away - really defeats the whole point!! I'm hoping they will develop a sponge version which would be less painful and more effective at cleaning.

I really wanted to like this, and it’s great for having a satisfying scratch in your ear, but it’s no good, for me, for removing wax.I imagine that for some people it will work fine, but I felt I was moving wax around but never removing it. I imagine my earwax now has neatly raked lines in it, like my own very personal zen garden.

Bought this for my chap because it makes me feel nauseous to see how many single-use plastic cotton buds he gets through in a year! (At least he has clean ears!)The rubber tip on one end ripped within 2 weeks.I didn’t expect that this would actually last a lifetime, but I hoped for better than 2 weeks...Don’t bother with this product. It’s a poor response to a real issue. Just jumping on the eco band wagon without any decent R&D.

Ich versuche immer Nachhaltiger zu werden, und gerade diese ganzen Einmal-Wegwurf-Produkte durch Sinnvolle alternativen zu ersetzen. Während Wattepads super gut durch Bambus-Alternativen ersetzt werden können, gestaltet es sich hier schwieriger. Die Reinigungswirkung ist viel geringer als bei einem Wattestab. Zusätzlich fällt die Fähigkeit Flüssigkeit aufzunehmen. Ich habe versucht mit Toilettenpapier (es reist sehr schnell) oder einem Kosmetiktuch diese Saugwirkung hinzubekommen, aber es klappt nicht wirklich. Daher kann ich das Produkt eigentlich nicht bedingungslos empfehlen.Aktuell werde ich wohl weiterhin Einmal-Wattestäbchen nutzen, denn sie sind ja auch mittlerweile überall Plastikfrei zu erhalten.

The concept of this earbud is an amazing idea, was very happy with the purchase in order to help the environment.Using the product was okay but I was unsure if it was really effective as there was never much wax on the bud after use.I was going to give 4 stars but unfortunately it’s quite flimsy and it has snapped in half after having it for 2 months. Not a lot of force or usage was needed for it to get like this - so 2 stars.
