Excellent equipment

This is a great little portable lightbox which packs down flat into its supplied carrier bag (1). It's easy to set up: unfold it and insert the tabs into the slots, then insert the micro-USB cable (supplied) and insert the other end into a USB port (2). The cable is a good length - about 90cm. The kit includes six coloured backdrops made of thin foam (3) which slide into the box (4), and there's a circular hole cut into the top of the lightbox for taking shots from above. 5 and 6 show photos taken from the front and the top respectively, with the yellow backdrop (the shadow in 6 is because I wasn't holding the camera straight!). TIP: when packing it all away, bend the foam backdrops around the flattened box to help prevent them creasing (7). I've read reviews which state that the brightness can be adjusted; I'm not sure it can. But basically: if you're after a small, light, portable light box which takes up minimal space, you can't go far wrong with this, especially at the price.

The light is reasonable, and the flap above is suitable for getting a camera in for an overhead shot. However, the weave on the backgrounds is quite prominent, especially if there are any shadows which then makes for some annoying post editing. The backgrounds don't have creases. Structurally it has stayed together, and is quite simple,, even innovative in the fold up style - I like that aspect. It makes it easy to store, and portable.

I am so pleased with this box. I bought one a few years ago but neglected to look at the actual measurements and it was far too big. I persevered with it but thought I should have a go with a smaller one. I make jewellery and this is everything I need it to be when photographing my items and will make my life so much easier.

Good value for money

One of the background has a hole on it.

Easy to install and folded after working that saves space. Light properties and brightness can be adjusted. It's nice to get pictures from different angles and from above. There are 6 different colours of background that can be easily changed. Before I bought this product to sell my items, I was using an app that cost as much as this product per month. Now besides saving money I'm free of the practice of applying and editing photos.

Cloth backgrounds let it down, otherwise great value

Esta caja de luz ha sido una gran herramienta para mejorar la calidad de mis fotos de productos. Me ha venido especialmente bien para hacer fotos de los artículos que reseño, ya que proporciona una iluminación uniforme que evita sombras y reflejos no deseados. Gracias a su alto brillo y diseño con 20 luces LED integradas, las fotos salen nítidas y bien iluminadas sin necesidad de editar demasiado. El material de PVC es de buena calidad. Además, se monta y desmonta en segundos, lo que la hace muy práctica y fácil de almacenar cuando no se usa. Su diseño plegable es ideal para guardarla sin ocupar mucho espacio. Los seis fondos de colores incluidos son un detalle muy útil, ya que permiten variar el estilo y la apariencia de las fotos sin complicaciones. Cambiarlos es muy sencillo, solo se encajan en la ranura superior sin necesidad de clips ni ajustes extra. También me ha gustado mucho la flexibilidad que ofrece en los ángulos de disparo, con una ventana frontal y otra superior que permiten tomar fotos desde diferentes perspectivas según el producto. En definitiva, esta caja de luz es una excelente opción tanto para principiantes como para quienes buscan mejorar sus fotos de productos de manera profesional.
