Loving these grow bags!!! Easy to fill, water, and transplant! Also growing plants for our county Master Gardeners plant sale…will be a new “pot” for many members and guests…just makes such good sense…plant the bio-degradable mesh bags…no plastic pots, less stress on the plants!!! So glad a fellow gardener discovered them!!!

I’ve used 2”x2” and 1.5”x1.5” cells for indoor seeding and was interested in finding bag size equivalences. So, to illustrate size I’ve taken a few pictures of the 5.5x6.2 bags I purchased. As you can see, the width of the folded bag is about 2-1/2” which is related to the 6.2 width given in the product description. This gives me a 2.5”x2.5” grow container, slightly bigger than my 2”x2” 6-cell compartment (for reference). I hope this helps shoppers! I’m going to buy the smaller size (3.9x4.7) to see if it’s closer to the size (2x2) that I’m used to working with in my grow room.

These are very plastic feeling. They do retain water which is fine for some seeds,but they do not drain well enough for succulents.Not entirely sure they degrade over time, I've had one outside for a year now and it is still very much intact. The size is fine for starters or bringing someone a little plant, but long term is questionable . The material is thick but the seams are thin and ripped easily. I don't think I'd buy again.

These have been working well and seedlings are doing great. Helps to turn the bags inside out before filling to make them more stable. Roots do grow through the bags.

I absolutely love these.

I guess I am spoiled, I like the convenience of being able to fill a tray of 6 or 10 peat pots all at one time and they stand on their own.They work fine and I will use them all, they are strong and a great size.
