Pyle UHF Wireless Microphone System Kit - Portable Professional Cordless Microphone Set with Headset, Lavalier, Beltpack Transmitter, Receiver - Karaoke & Conference

Our Cub Scout pack purchased this headset mic for our PA system, to be used at Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Banquet, and other events. We're a large pack of 100+ scouts, so we needed something with good range and sensitivity to help project over a rowdy crowd of K-5 scouts and their parents. I'm a big guy so the headset actually fit better when I turned it upside-down from the picture, going behind the neck instead of over my head. The mic sensitivity is great, speech comes over crisp and bright...very clear. The range is excellent at well over 100' and even through two brick walls. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the lapel mic worked. It has to be directly below your mouth so a shirt collar won't work, but clipped to a v-neck polo or top button on a scout uniform worked perfectly. I'm 6'4" and the cord length on both the headset and the lapel mic was enough to reach to the mic pack on my belt without issues.

Just purchased and this turned out to be a very good product compared to its peer product. I also ordered another product from a different company that came with many other accessories. But the gain and sound quality of that product was very poor. This product Pyle PDWMU112 is very good and has great sound quality. With low-volume settings too, the gain is great. I am using it for flute and the sound is very good. I will recommend this product

Clip on mic does not pickup sound unless you are speaking directly into it (which is impossible when its clipped on) you literally need to hold it up to your mouth and headset mic picks up breath- very poor quality, I would not recommend this product.

First, the low price might warn one off, however, it looks like I will not be disappointed in the quality of output. Easy set up. Might be worth noting converter for 1/4" AV is included for your instrument. I've tested output for the mics on my PC and evaluated in Audacity. The raw output gave a waveform that passes ACX standard for audiobook submission. With NO adjustments, no less. Noise floor is flat and well below -60 even in my open room with no baffling or sound suppression. The waveform is neatly "flat topped" and steady, I read it at -7. I gave it a boost to -3db and it was perfect. This shows that in live use this set will perform very well. I may be using it for You Tubing rather than my nice AKG Condenser mic. Not only for freedom of moevement but quality of output in an unprotected, (not studio), environment. I expect to be very satisfied with this purchase. The attached snap shows one verse of "Red River Valley" and the result of an ACX check. That's just sweet!

This works quite well and Im very surprised at the low cost for the function. Im a drummer and needed a quick and cheap wireless mic to fill in for a random band and sing some fleetwood mac. The main issue was distance from the board to the stage with no remaining inputs on the snake. Used this gadget and it worked great. I considered adding some foam headset mic coblvers to the headset pads because they looked like they could be a little uncomfortable but they were not needed even after 4 hours of playing. Output mix volume can be a bit tricky. The mic itself, obviously understandable at this price point, has no internal compression, amp, effects, or gain control nor does it have a mic 'clip' technology, so it takes a little practice to position the mic where you need it to be so you can be heard without being too loud or soft. It has a volume control which works well, including to 'mute' by turning it down to zero volume manually on the wireless tranceiver. Wish it had a mute in the mic because turning the mic volume back up in the middle of playing drums may not get me back to the same volume. Overall extremely satisfied with this device and always been satisifed with pyle products. Im very surprised amd pleased pyle is still in business making good, value products at a lower cost.

The product uses to flimsy a wire from the headset to the connection on the body pack. I have been experiencing static since I purchased the item. I didn't know the warranty was only three months or I would not have purchased it.

This product works great and is exactly what I was looking for: a wireless and mic-stand-free way to sing with my Vox Minigo5 battery-powered amp. Combined with a wireless guitar transmitter/receiver, it allows me to play and sing without being anchored to a spot. Perfect for the busker in me! Yay! P.S. I had an earlier version of this that had serious feedback problems, but this one doesn't.

I've used this for two years now in my classroom, and I love it. It isn't ideal, but I make it work, and when I remember to charge the transmitter it's works well. The receiver on my belt sometimes makes noise from moving around, but I've learned to manage it. It was pretty inexpensive, and you can tell by the material and the build. But it saves my voice while teaching in a large classroom with 36 high schoolers. I have a quiet voice, and with this I get their attention without having to yell!

Its absolute rubbish. Not worth $5.
