Once reset, use any remote control to activate power to the Power saver socket. Connect one device at a time. if any of the devices cause the safety device to trip again then get the offending device serviced Review: Very cool product very good seller. - Fast shipping, very good seller. Product is cool, shuts the TV and stuff off when my kids leave everything on. Which happens a lot in my house. Once you get used to what the flashing green light means, your good to go. Love it. Review: Brutality - While using this product, I was listening to my stereo, and my TV was on. I turned off the stereo because I wanted to watch TV - and it turned my entire system off. That's brutal. Then, once I figure out that it wants to turn everything off anytime you turn anything off, I saw a different problem. While I was watching a movie (Edge of Tomorrow, it was a really good flick), about half way through the movie, the unit's sensor started flashing. Sure enough, it turned my system off in the middle of the movie - right when Tom Cruise starts to kick ass. I guess it wants you to constantly blast it with your TV remote to keep the thing working. One final thing: this unit doesn't recognize my DirecTV remote or the wireless PlayStation controllers. That's why you need to constantly blast it with the TV remote. What a joke. Now I just use this things a surge suppressor for my lamp. It seems to work pretty good for that.

Love the device to help save on energy
Love the device to help save on energy. Only thing I don't understand is that after an hour or two the TV shuts down. I must be doing something wrong. Can someone help to resolve problem.

Does not work as described
I carefully read what this device is supposed to do, hoped to use it to turn my kids' TV off after they fall asleep. I successfully changed the default 1 hour timer (which frankly is absurd) to 2 hours, and confirmed that it turns the power outlet on when remote control activity occurs and off 2 hours later, but then found that it randomly disregards subsequent remote control activity and still shuts the TV off just minutes after blinking indicating successful reception of remote activity.
