Great for light use but get a real arbor!
Itโs just what it appears to be - a low cost hole saw for occasional / light duty applications. I bought it to cut two holes in wood and drywall. It worked just as expected and Iโm sure itโs got many more cuts left in it. The arbor that comes with the hole saw went straight into the trash - get a real arbor for reliable and safe operation (like the one in the photo). And if you have an auxiliary side handle for your drill, use it. A saw this big can really grab and throw the drill out of your hand when it bites.

It's big and works but be careful!
Just what I needed. It worked for a simple job with plywood. I wouldn't recommend this for heavy contractor use it's more of an occasional specialty tool. Take a look at my video. The drill is missing an essential locking mechanism between the threaded drill shaft and the hole saw plate. Be careful with this thing. It's big and as Newton said remains in motion.

Buy this - don't overspend on the big box stores for simple DIY projects!
My girlfriend and I decided to take on a full bathroom remodel. I'm a simple weekend-warrior, youtube mechanic/dyi'er so no professional experience going into this project. We installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom that required ventilation to the exterior of the home. I was nervous to drill a 4" inch hole through the side of my house as per the exhaust fan duct requirements but this attachment, with how nicely sharp the teeth were, didn't give me too much time to hesitate after I started drilling as it went completely through my cedar shingle and 2 pieces of plywood exterior within about 15-25 seconds. I was really impressed with how sharp it was and how perfectly clean the cut was. I gawked at how much similar hole cutters were at the big box stores and took my chances on this one and would easily take that chance again.

Saw good, arbor not so much
Needed a 6.5โ hole saw to cut holes in kayak for dry storage inserts. This saw met the need. The teeth but in and and cut a perfect hole. The saw itself is good and appears it will hold up. However, this was really only useful after I purchased a separate arbor with locking pins. The provided arbor does NOT hold the saw on and it will spin off, with potential for injury. If youโve never used a hole saw watch a few videos first to understand operation. The kick of the hole saw may cause injury if not handled with caution. Overall, decent saw, but useless arbor.

Beautiful, clean cuts
This hole saw cut a beautiful round hole, in thick plastic, wallboard, and plywood almost effortlessly. It is very sharp. It feels heavy, more so than the cheap blades I previously had in my tool chest. The replaceable center drill bit worked well, and I was pleased to find this hole saw came with two extra replacement drill bits AND with the hex wrench to use when the bit needs replacing. I plan to find other diameter hole saws by this manufacturer. Don't worry about this being made in China. It is NOT a cheap tool, as some Chinese exports are.

Cuts an accurate hole, but gets dull very quickly
Reviewing the Rannb 90mm/3.5inch hole saw. ---------------------------------- PLUS: Diameter is very accurate. This hole saw comes with a shank that fits my 1/4 inch drill. ---------------------------------- MINUS: Not very sharp out of the box, and gets duller quite quickly. Cutting through 3/4 inch baltic birch plywood, the saw started "grabbing" about 1/4 inch into the first cut. Reducing the downward pressure to a minimum helped, but it still took about 2 minutes to cut the first hole. Second hole took longer, and by the time we were at hole #7 it took about 5 minutes to cut through. By then the blade was so dull that it was basically grinding through the wood (as opposed to cutting). The sawdust was very fine, about what you would expect from #220 grit sandpaper. Also, what looks like anodized coating on the bit turns out to be paint, which burns off from friction (with attendant pleasant burned-paint smell). ---------------------------------- OVERALL: A cheap bit that worked for the intended purpose of cutting 7 holes, with probably 3 or 4 holes left before the bit goes into the trash. If you need a bit for a small number of holes, and are willing to drill very slowly, this would be a reasonable choice given the price tag.

Dulled out very quickly and was almost unusable before the job was finished, I was using it in drywall. Its ok if you only have one or two holes to make.
