AqueonQuietFlow Internal Shrimp Filter 20 Gallons

I purchased this when Tetra Internal power filters were on back order. It did the job. Made enough noise that I had to unplug it at night. Noisy.

Very bad! It’s not shrimp proof. It sucks out all the baby shrimp!

This filter is great for the smaller aquariums. The water flow is very good, not overpowering blowing plants and substrate around but enough to keep the water moving. It is very quiet and keeps my aquarium clean and clear. I recommend this filter.

I used this for a planted 20gal and it does its job, just not the best filter I’ve used. I tried to get away from the bulky classic sponge filters but after using this 2 months I decided to just go back to a regular spong filter. The whole filter accumulates algae very very quickly and the suction sponge doesn’t work as efficiently because it is a small area and requires cleaning since plant parts and other debris cover/ clog it fairly quickly
