I use this power strip for both my computer and entertainment setup, and it has been very reliable. The seven outlets give me enough room for everything without having to use multiple strips. The cord is long enough to reach the wall easily while keeping things neat. It sits flat on the floor and does not tip over when everything is plugged in. The layout of the outlets makes it easy to plug in larger adapters without blocking others. It has already gotten a lot of use and should give me plenty more for years to come.

I somehow didn't notice it had phone jacks on the end of it before I ordered, but this was the only/cheapest option I could find that had a flat plug, and a 6 foot cord, and was a surge protector, AND had indicator lights for protection at least (this additonally has a light for ungrounded). I feel like, what's the point in having a surge protector if it can't tell you whether it's protecting you or not? I needed the flat plug to fit behind a door that remains open fully and has my outlet behind it as a result. Perfect. I don't and probably will never have a use for the phone jacks. It came with a sticker over them which I will just leave for now. But this fit the bill of all other criteria. I guess the 5th criteria was a "known brand" - I didn't want some cheap "travel surge protector" by an unknown company. Belkin, Tripp Lite, APC...don't risk your expensive electronics. I also got a few of the Amazon Basics ones to put around the house and replace the power taps we were using. But they don't have flat plugs.

Reliable product

The Belkin 7-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector, 12ft Cord fitted on one of my computer needs in extension and a surge protector. The only thing that I disliked about it is the spacing and the orientation of the plugs. There are some plugs that take over two plugs due to the voltage/wattage needed for specific electronic therefore rendering one useless plug unable to be used. Belkin is very very reliable brand where you will expect the level of durability and quality when you receive a surge protector like this. If I were you, I would check the plugs you currently have to see if there is a plug that might potentially hog two slots, If you have one that does, it should be fine as the last plug on the Belkin surge protector can utilize that without issue, but if you do have more than one that does that, I'd look for ones where the plugs are spaced out, as well as rotated differently than the one presented here. The housing is made of plastic, but it doesn't creek a lot if you don't put too much load on it. Purchased this product back in 2014 and still worked since then. I think it all comes down to the area you live in if there is a lot of humidity presented in the area or if you are planning to place this surge protector near a potential dangerous place. I only used it for my office room in a cool place with little to no humidity and it has done well over the years of usage. The way the three-prong end is tilted adds a nice touch as it wont disrupt the plug underneath it if you are being presented with a two-plug wall outlet.

I love Belkin products especially when power outages happen.

Really nice product from an equally nice company. Note: I do not have PRIME since Amazon.com does NOT stand behind their BS mark-up service and have become WORSE since they started pushing it so much at delivering non PRIME items. My experience with Belkin has always been Way Over the Top good. So I recommend any product in general. Their customer service namely and their delivery, packaging is STELLAR. This product is good in that it is robust, the white does not easily scratch (matte type), and the product seems to be well designed overall. The LED's are not obnoxious at all. The wire is thick, robust, but has enough travel to be useful. Only small enhancement would be to put the switch up top instead of at the end of the power strip to provide more options. And maybe add a USB port.

Delivered as pictured and described. I was a bit concerned because of the super low price, thinking maybe it was a discontinued model due to problems but we've had good experiences with Belkin products so I went with this one... When facing it plugged into the outlet, the cord does lean right as advertised. Length is also correct. True white, not an almond color, so it looks nice with white outlet and carpet where visible. The switch is effectively placed on the end where the cord comes out so it's harder to accidentally switch off. Also it lights up on top to indicate green for protected or red for not grounded. Also designed for a phone line on the opposite end but we haven't had use for that where we are using this surge protector. Will update this review should we utilize that feature or have any issues. It is the right size and the longer cord makes it easier and neat to accommodate all the electronics. I have had great experience with this product.

i used 3 of these with 1000w+ constant load on them for the last 4 month with absolutely no problem. look really good, look solid and they work well. i have look alot for power bar on amazon and this one would be in my top 3 easy. belkin is my way to go for power bar in the future
