Dango D03 Dapper Bifold EDC Wallet - Made in USA - Genuine Leather, Slim, Minimalist, Metal, RFID Blocking, Whiskey Brown/Satin Silver, Minimalist

This wallet has been part of my EDC for the past 3+ years. When I bought it, I thought, "that's a lot of money for a minimalist wallet." It was more than worth the price. it's thin, rugged, secure, and carries all the cards I need, plus a place to stash emergency cash. It rides comfortably in my front pocket, but it also hides well in zippered tech pockets. It still looks great: Not new, but solid with a good patina. I rarely write reviews, but this one earned the 5-stars. The Dango wallet has exceeded my expectations (and few things do).

Love the wallet and size. Kind of wish it could hold more cards. I only gave 4 stars for durability because I've only had it 2 months and I'm afraid the built in stretch band will lose elasticity and or break soon? I had the Ekster wallet which I loved but was far more expensive and the mechanism broke in under a year of use. Granted I dropped it 3 times but at their price point, I felt it should've been made better not with plastic. However this wallet seems much sturdier, slighlty thinner profile but also slightly wider. I've actually grown to like it more than the Ekster as it is more of a traditional wallet without the gimmicky credit card ejection button. All things said a really great wallet worth the investment.

Final update I've had this wallet for amost 5 years now using it literally everyday since I bought it back in 2021. While my views toward that elastic band haven't changed mine is still intact like it was when I first bought it, that said I don't carry cash and if I do it's usually some small combination of $20 so the thing doesn't get used at all. Outside of light leather wear and discoloration the wall is held up pretty well none of the screws are loose and none of the leathers torn not a stitching's ripped i really didn't realize I've had this wallet this long until I looked up the order on Amazon just now so all in all I mean I recommend it that's pretty good, I'm increasing from 2 to 4 stars Updated reviw: I've had this wallet for about a week now and got the replacement one in the mail about a day ago however they're both exactly the same. I didn't expect a change in the material used obviously but I was hoping that my "money band" was just looser than it should have been but sadly there is no change. It's a nice wallet and I get it's targeted to card carriers but to deliberately design it in such a way that makes carrying cash difficult (the money just falls right out the band) is a shame especially when your $80 wallet which is virtually the same has a stronger silicon band that holds money in place, and you're trying to justify a $40 price difference in a silicon band. So I'm not going to leave too long of a review I just got the wallet and the elastic band DOESN'T HOLD MONEY IN THE WALLET, I mean it's like Dollar Tree cheap elastic that feels like plastic.... So I ordered a replacement and if it fixes the issue I'll update the review. If not, I'm going to return it and just buy something else, because a wallet that won't hold 6 bills is pretty useless

My first minimalist wallet and I love it! It holds everything I need, remains slim, looks cool, works great, is comfortable to carry, and a great value at its price. I can get 4 cards in the slide rail, which I love; I can get 2 in the inside window pocket - but I removed the clear plastic window - served no purpose and w/o it it is very easy to take out my license when needed; I can get 2 cards in the front outer pocket - no room for more; and I can get 4 in the back outer pocket along with a couple folded up 20’s - the elastic strap served no purpose for me so I cut it off - can’t even tell it was there - I LOVE this wallet - my favorite ever!

I don't have a lot of cards to carry or cash either, 4 cards is more than enough for me. It's really a minimalist. The 4 cards fit nicely and held in place by the rail system, so far, I haven't seen it slip out of the rail. It's easy to pull out the card if you need it. I put 4 stars because of the strap/band that holds the cash or used to wrap around the wallet(secure configuration?) seems to be of low quality material. After wrapping it around the wallet, it seems to lose some of its elastic strength. After 1 try of wrapping it around, I'm weary of doing it again, I can see that I'm just gonna end up with a very loose strap. With just a few bills strapped, saw then fell off to the ground after opening the wallet. So, if you like to carry a lot of cash, I wouldn't recommend this wallet. But it works for me, I don't like carrying cash anyway. Aside from the strap/band, the craftsmanship is solid.

Ive been looking at this wallet for sometime and finally pulled the trigger. I like the color combo the leather against the brushed aluminum looks very nice. However it doesnt feel very well put together, only time will tell. Already I can say the "rail" system doesnt work very well if there is anything short of a full load of cards in it. Everytime i open it they are falling out. Needs a money clip or a tighter elastic strap as it is to wimpy to hold bills on its own. you gotta stretch the strap around the entire wallet for it to have enough tension to hold bills. and please for the love of god upgrade that elastic strap, its cheap and feels like its going to tear everytime i use it. Overall at this point dissapointed, good idea not the greatest of execution

This wallet has real potential for someone who loves that style. I was excited to open it and was as expected from the videos it delivers on the quality and feel! Although I returned it, unused, it was only for one reason, it just wasn’t me. The leather felt good but my biggest hang up was the elastic band that IMO could have worn down and failed. Coming from another minimalist wallet that I have had for over five years and nothing has failed on it I was skeptical about the longevity of that band. Another hang up for me is I have business credit cards that I have to carry along with three ID cards, my current wallet had no problem carrying those plus my health cards, this one seemed like I would be that guy in line trying to get my card out if I ever needed too. High points on design though because I liked the fact that it was convertible, that’s what lead me to buy it other than the US made part. For someone else it is a great wallet for my needs it was not. Five stars though because I feel this was innovative. My complaint about this company though is that they are heavy priced on almost every other wallet.

Love the minimalist style of this wallet. Now I can put this in my front pocket and not have to worry about a bulky wallet in my back pocket. The leather seems to be off high quality and the rail system is a plus. I will say I was only able to comfortably fit 3 cards in the rail system due to that 2 of the cards have raised lettering which takes up more room. Everything about this is very nice and well put together. All the complaints about the strap tearing easily must be an earlier generation of this wallet? Dango must have taken note and improved on this strap. My strap seems to be very durable and very tight. For $40 this is a great deal.
