What is the shelf life / expiration date for this kit from date of purchase?

Hi Melanthius, thanks for the good question. You'll find that each sterile item within the kit will have an expiration date printed on it. They range from 3-5 years, so we would recommend replacing the kit with a new one at a minimum of every 3 years, to guarantee that integrity of all items.

can I leave this first aid kit in the car?the car can get really hot& i'm not sure if that would melt the tools made of plastic like the mouth barrier

You can leave this in the car, nothing should get melted. Some of the items in any first aid kit may dry out over time based on where it is stored.
