Excellent quality and very easy tool free enclosure maximum capacity of storage cam use 4TB, little bit tricky to hold M.2 NvMe ssd, with this enclosure only one rubber gormat for holding NvMe SSD, at least it should be one more extra because could be break easily after some time.

I had purchase this Water Resistant enclosure to help with picture transfers from camera/laptop to external storage in somewhat less than dry conditions. I will admit that this enclosure developed an issue staying connected but Sabrent support came through. I have not had any issues with the other enclosures so, I hope this was odd infant mortality failure. I had great response and communication with tech support team and the replacement shows no signs of any issue, fingers crossed.

This is housing a 4tb Crucial nvme. The casing is a very thick aluminum block that looks great. This storage works perfectly with my PC and HP Spectre laptop. The only negative is the rubber tab when placing the nvme in the slot, you literally need to have the rubber tab already in the slot and when placing the nvme. Put the nvme in the casing, use a small screwdriver to bend the rubber tab away from the nvme then push down the nvme, push the rubber tab in the nvme opening. This actually required some effort. Also, the temperature of the casing gets mildly warm. Very happy with this enclosure and this matches my Sabrent TB3 enclosures.

I purchased this to use with my PS5. I recently upgraded the internal M.2 drive and decided to repurpose the previous drive for installing PS4 games on an external. I chose this enclosure because I've had good luck with Sabrent products in the past, and also because it's an attractive enclosure that looks good in my entertainment center. Unfortunately for the PS5 this enclosure didn't work out very well. Each time I turned the PS5 on after leaving it in rest mode I received an error message stating that the USB storage device was removed unexpectedly, and needed to be repaired before it could be used. This became an annoyance very quickly. If you use rest mode or even just play for long sessions, power is being supplied to the drive the entire time (unless you've disabled power to the USB ports). Since this enclosure is intended to be water resistant, the only way for heat to escape is through the body, and after a few hours it gets very hot to the point where it's uncomfortable to pick up. I suspected this may be the cause of the drive disconnecting, so I added two 40mm fans with additional heatsinks to the top of the enclosure. This worked very well for cooling the enclosure down. With the fans running it never gets above ambient temperature on the external surfaces. The downside now is that the enclosure looks pretty ugly with the additional heatsinks and fans. Unfortunately, the active cooling didn't help with the disconnecting issue. I even experienced crashing from games that were running from the M.2 drive because the USB drive would become disconnected during gameplay. I need to get my hands on another NVMe drive and do some testing on PC to make sure the unit I received isn't defective. If I determine that's the case I'll be contacting Sabrent for a warranty exchange and will report back.
