TSA friendly—I took it in my airline carry on from the US to South Korea (ICN) and back with zero issue. These are lovely if you’re trying to minimize your travel liquids! One tablet per brushing worked well and foamed up nicely. The chew-to-use took a little getting used to though. The tin is really cute and convenient, though the lid can be a little hard to screw back on. If I had any major complaints it would be that I wish it had a stronger minty flavor. Would still definitely recommend and will continue using in my travels.

Taste ok, it was sure something to get use to, but did clean pretty good. I bought it to minimize liquids and foe compact use. Definitely did that. I will continue to use this on all my trips.

Bought these for our trip to Costa Rica. Appreciate the twist top tin and no fuss, no mess. Now they’re weird to slide the first time, but after 10 days I’m very much used to them. Taste is mild and it foams up well. And didn’t have to worry about a baggy to store it in and honestly feel good about the packaging and its minimal impact on the environment. Pro Tip - chew them slightly and then use a wet toothbrush.

These take a little getting used to. But really work and I use for travel and backup.

This toothpaste tablet works pretty well. It is nice that it has fluoride, I work in the dental field and know how important fluoride is to protect your teeth. It also foams nicely which helps your toothbrush glide against your teeth when brushing. I have purchased it several times now and will probably continue. It is good value for the money, being quite a bit less than Bite. It does has a different kind of aftertaste but hasn’t bothered me and one of my teenagers uses it without complaint. Would recommend if trying to be more eco friendly and less mess which it comes to toothpaste. Also, carried it on airplane with toiletries and saved room in my quart size bag for other liquids.

Got it for travel but tried it out. I really liked it but I think for the price I will stick to normal tooth paste. Foams up frankly too much so I will try a half tomorrow morning. Which frankly just means double the value for me. And I can spit it out without feeling like there is a bunch left in my mouth and not needing to rinse. The scent/flavor isn't strong which I like but I guess that means it does less to freshen the breath which is fine.

I am revising my prior review (below). Note, I am a coffee drinker, and occasional red wine drinker. After using for several months, I noticed that my teeth were more stained than before. This staining was removed by a professional teeth cleaning. So, I abandoned these tablets, and I am back to toothpaste tubes. However, there are now a lot of tablets with fluoride available, so I will start testing these to see if any of them clean my teeth as well as the toothpaste I use. No more messy tubes and hopefully reduces plastic waste. I first bought in the aluminum tin, and then the larger bag, which the S. Korean company said was not made of plastic, but they didn't say what it was made of. I went to the company web site and submitted a question about their packaging, but they never responded. Anyway, I hope what they said is true. These toothpaste tablets have a nice flavor and seem to clean my teeth well. They cost a lot more than regular toothpaste, so I am hoping that my extra expense is worthwhile to the environment.

I took this tin of Simplut toothpaste tablets on an 8 day trip for 2 people. My experience was mixed. The tablets work well for brushing your teeth. You chew up a tablet then use your wet toothbrush to brush. The resulting toothpaste is a little grainy, but seems to clean my teeth as well as any other toothpaste. I appreciate that they have fluoride, too. The tin of tablets takes up considerably more room than a travel tube of toothpaste. This might be an important thing to consider if you’re packing light. The bigger issue for me was the tin. It can be difficult to open, and tricky to close again. I got the lid seated in the threads incorrectly and wasn’t able to unscrew it again. I had to pry the lid off, damaging it. I had to move the tablets to a plastic container for the rest of my trip. If you do buy these tablets, consider moving them to a different container before traveling with them. I plan to go back to travel size toothpaste tubes for my next trip. I want to add that Simplut reached out to me after this review, which was initially 3 stars. They offered a full refund. I refused that offer, because I have used the tablets. I suggested to Simplut that they improve the container, as that was my main problem. I appreciate their commitment to quality control and customer satisfaction, and have edited the review to include this information. I have also added a star to my review due to their kind offer.
