This book has helped refresh my memory so I can help both my middle school and high school kids with their math. All of my big kids are using this book as a reference whenever they have questions now! Thanks to Covid-19 my kids are stuck home with me learning virtually. Since I am right next to them all day, I am the person they come to with math questions. I haven't used middle school (or high school) math in FOREVER so I found myself needing to google equations to refresh my memory. If you haven't googled algebraic equations recently, best of luck! There are so may different equations I would have to sort through to find the one I was looking for. Finally, I remembered purchasing this book for my daughter last year. I asked her if she still knew where it was and if I could borrow it for a quick refresher lesson. This book was the ONLY book on her desk. Apparently, my use of the book is the first time it has left her desk area. She finds this book so useful that she is very concerned about losing it (she is the most disorganized child I have, despite my efforts to help her be organized). Anyway... I started flipping through the book and was amazed! It is so clear and concise and easy to read. It is color coded to make navigating the book and each page easier. It is written in a very easy to understand manner so you don't get lost in the words before you figure out the math. It teaches without being complicated and it is brief enough to be a great reference. This book has helped refresh my memory so I can help both my middle school and high school kids with their math. *******PREVIOUS REVIEW******* I purchased this math book for my daughter when she was struggling in 7th grade math. She referred to it quite often at first but, with the way this book is set up, the information started really sinking in and making sense and she needed to refer to it less and less. By the end of the year she was using this book as a reference book for when she got stuck on odd or very difficult equations. This is one of the very few books that she keeps track of (even over the summer!). I would highly recommend to anyone with a middle schooler!! Review: Best books ever - These are the best books ever very useful, great content, lots of color to catch the kids eyes and very useful and the organization in the books are on point

Amazing for adults too!
Im 28 years old and returning to school. I got my GED when I was 16, after dropping out in the 9th grade. Safe to say it's been a while since I've needed to know how to multiply a fraction, or find the LCM. I have to take assessment exams before entering college, and while I'm great in every other subject I've always struggled with math. This book has been my best study tool! I wish it had existed when I was in middle school. Finally, everything all the teachers and tutors where trying to teach me makes sense. This book explains things in such a way that it just clicks. I've aced every quiz it has to offer on the first try, because everything is covered so well without all the added jumbo you get from normal textbooks. I just took my first practice test today for the assessment, and I got a score of 91% on the math portion! I'm now seriously wishing they offered college algebra (hopefully in the future). The part I like best is this can be helpful to adults in other ways too. I gave the book to my sister in law, and she's using it to help herself help my nephew with his homework. Honestly, knowing now how helpful this book is, I would pay triple the price in a heartbeat. It's more than worth the current price tag. If anything it's a steal. Now that I'm done gushing I'll give some more details. The book is divided into 6 units. Each unit has anywhere from 5 to 20 chapters. Those chapters are ordered in such a way that the knowledge slowly builds. So you barely even realize what it is you're learning to do. And you don't have to skip around all over the book to solve one problem. The chapters are usually short as well (5 pages, give or take) which is great because you feel like you're flying right through it. Then each chapter ends with a 10 problem quiz covering what you just learned. On the back side of this quiz is the answer key. Which doesn't just list the answers, but also explains WHY it's the correct answer. The whole thing reads exactly like the amazing notes I used to borrow from the class math whiz. It feels more like a cheat sheet than a work book or text book, to be honest. Like someone took math and thought, "how can I make this easy for anyone to understand?" And the result was this book. It's of good size and weight. I mention this because I have literally so many books I carry to the library where I study each day, that it takes two bags. They're dang heavy, but luckily this book barely added any weight at all. Making it perfect for transporting from school to home, and back again. Even better, it is a medium cover. Not paperback, but not your typical rock solid hard cover either. It has some bend to it, which for me made taking notes in a smaller space (like a tiny library desk) easier. 🤷♀️ All in all, it's a fantastic book. I plan on buying the rest of the collection because, hey, why not? If knowledge is power, these little puppies are the key.

Great for homeschool review!
I’m loving these books. I homeschool and this year we decided to go back and just review everything before he starts Algebra next year. I don’t want my son just going through the motions and not remembering anything by time he gets done with high school. These are perfect for how we do school. He is a visual learner and the way these are laid out really makes it stick. And also he can’t do long explanations. He learns best with short and sweet. We also have the workbook that goes with this so if he needs a little extra time on a subject he can get it from that. It goes right with this book. I highly recommend both.

An Absolute Game-Changer for Middle School Learners and Homeschool Moms
An Absolute Game-Changer for Middle School Learners and Homeschool Moms If you are navigating the middle school years and looking for a reliable, comprehensive resource to anchor your curriculum, this complete middle school study guide is an incredible investment. Exceptional Clarity: The material is broken down exceptionally well. Complex concepts are translated into clear, digestible explanations that genuinely click for students. Practical Examples: Every section features fantastic, relatable examples that bridge the gap between abstract theory and real understanding. Confidence for Parents: If you are a mom just starting out or feeling overwhelmed about where to begin, this book takes the guesswork out of lesson planning. It serves as an open-and-go roadmap that instills total confidence. A Note on Packaging and Delivery The only downside to this purchase was the shipping experience. Unfortunately, the books were not wrapped or protected properly in transit, causing them to arrive looking worn, scuffed, or slightly damaged straight out of the box. This is especially disappointing because the content is so stellar, and I purchased these with the intent of using and preserving them for years to come across multiple students. Better protective wrapping or boxed shipping is definitely needed to keep these valuable reference books pristine. Recommendation: Despite the packaging mishap, the educational value of these guides is top-tier. Highly recommended for any homeschooling household—just keep your fingers crossed for better transit protection! Will update my review if the issue is resolved!

Excellent supplement
I'm using every book from the middle school series for my 6th grader and I'm VERY happy to have found these. Like a lot of schools today, my daughter's doesn't use any textbooks and everything is on an iPad. Maybe that works in the school (I'm not so sure of that, it seems it's just easier for the teachers) but it's positively messy and difficult to sort out the online lessons and activities at home when I'm trying to help her with problem areas or to check her knowledge level on a subject. These books help me to bone up on the material before I try to teach at home and they serve as an excellent reference for her to use. How is she supposed to review a topic or formula from two weeks or two months ago when it's buried in her iPad lessons/activities under vague titles? She can use these books with well laid out table of contents and indexes to find it quickly. The material is pretty comprehensive for her grade level, written very well, and presented in such a way that a middle school student will be attracted to it. I did add a traditional math textbook on top of these; in my opinion this subject requires additional practice and explanation (even beyond the the workbook from this series). On top of all that, the books are priced very cheap for the content they have. Looking at them I would expect they be priced $15-$20 each.

Excited for this book!
So far so good! Just started homeschooling my middle schooler. And needed a good book to keep her engaged. This book is beautiful in its layout and simplicity. My daughter is autistic and because of that, it’s hard to keep engagement. After taking one look at this book, we were off to it with no fight. Book is smaller then expected (probably A2 sized pages), it’s decently thick and from first glance through very detailed. Arrived in perfect condition.

It is easy to understand.
My son loved this book. He said that it is easier to understand and helps him understand some of the principles he is having a hard time. He is in junior high school and likes maths very much. I would recommend this book to any student who would like to have a reference and additional practice.

every schooler must have
My kids love this book, we bought the whole bundle of all school subjects. Information presented in compact way with very nice eye catching illustrations.

Tres pragmatique
L'approche est vraiment intéressante: on essaie d'abord de comprendre pourquoi on fait les choses, et on ne structure pas le cours uniquement par des définitions et des propriétés comme les livres de classe français. A 9€ en Kindle, impossible de s'en passer!
