what are the steps for setting the shutter release for xt20? i just bought 35.. f1.7

Go to your main menu. Scroll down to button/dial setting. Then go to SHOOT WITHOUT LENS, and make sure that is ON. Since this is a manual focus camera and doesn’t link into the cameras readability, it will act as if there is no lens on the camera and pressing the shutter button the camera won’t fire off if this isn’t turned on.

Even though these are for fujifilm x, is there a crop (i.e. 35mm = 50mm) for this lens on the xt3?

Xt3 is a cropped sensor. APSC. All lens focal lengths are quoted at 35 mm ( full frame ) equivalent. So the lens functions as 52.5 mm lens would on a full frame camera. So the lens focal length on the CT3 is z52.5 mm.

Is this compatible with the X-A7

The Fuji X-A7, according to Wikipedia is an X mount camera so the Meike 35mm f1.7 lens designed to fit a Fuji X-mount should work.

Will this lens fit my sony zve-10?

Not this X-mount version. I am not sure if Meike has a version for Sony mount.
