International hit by the creator of Angel Sanctuary Deep in the heart of 19th century London, a young nobleman named Cain walks the shadowy cobblestone streets of the aristocratic society into which he was born. Forced to become an earl upon the untimely death of his father, Cain assumes the role of head of the Hargreaves, a noble family with a dark past. With Riff, his faithful manservant, and Mary Weather, his 10-year-old half sister, Cain investigates the mysterious crimes that seem to follow him wherever he goes. A grotesque gift holds a clue to the Cain's family past; a mortician's daughter has deadly designs on one of Cain's closest friends; and a woman from Riff's past may have murder on her mind. Macabre Magic
The third volume from the magnificent gothic series! In this volume, we are introduced to three new stories: Zigeunerweisen, Mortician's Daughter, and The Stake. In Zigeunerweisen, Cain has a dream of his grandfather's funeral, and his Uncle Neil is also in this chapter. In Mortician's Daughter (my favorite story), we meet a girl named Marjorie Pareira and a dark man named Mr. Coffin Maker. In the Stake, a woman comes to the Hargreaves estate as Mary Weather's new tutor, and turns out to be someone from Riff's past. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with this volume. I am very eager to read the rest of the series, as this is one of my very favorite manga.

As for details on condition
The book itself is alright, but aside the description said "very good", they didn't mention it was covered in library stickers, which doesn't look very clean.

Series is beginning to come together.
Kaori Yuki, The Cain Saga: Godchild, vol. 3 (ViZ, 2002) Two stories, "Zigeunerweisen" (in which we find out why this series is named Godchild) and "The Mortician's Daughter", a case of mistaken identity in which Mary Weather's suitor Oscar is mistaken for someone else. The second's connection to the overall storyline is tenuous, but it's still a good story. The series is really starting to work on me. *** ยฝ
