Will this work with a standard desktop mic stand? what size is the smaller part (diameter)?

I use a Moukey Desk Mic Stand Universal, Adjustable Desktop Mic Stand. It's not perfect, it fits loosely, is portable and foldable, but works and costs only $12.99 on Amazon.
