I've not flown a kite in decades. Our 5 year old had no idea what a kite even was. I ordered another kite first and it just wouldn't fly. I then ordered this pack, and, needless to say: they fly perfectly. Two of our children have had the string all the way out. It was amazing. They are taking turns flying them as I write this review. I highly recommended. I'll also add that it is absolutely joyful watching my children do something I loved so much as a child. I would definitely recommend these for the price, the capability, and to relive your childhood joys.

It's March, and it's windy, and my gal pal and I have been spending time outside here in Arizona while the weather's nice, and I brought up kites. She said "ooh". My first inclination was to go to the big blue store and get a kite and string and call it a day. Their selection stunk. So I came here and landed on these. At 20 dollars and change for three, I thought I was going to get three plastic disposable kites that I toss after flying, not so. These are rip stop parachute material, with skinny rods, like fishing pole material, that go together much like tent stakes. You pull it out of a fairly small package and it just keeps unraveling until you are standing there with this huge 5 foot wingspan kite. I tried to take a picture but it was too big and awkward, like me. The quality of these kites far surpasses any I had in my childhood, of course I go all the way back to balsa wood, crepe paper, and a tube of glue, with 24 hour dry time and having to be careful not to break it before you get to the park. I'm very excited about this purchase, and can't wait till Saturday! Why do you buy three? One for you and your friend... Yhen, inevitably, a curious child comes snooping around, and hangs out watching you fly your kite and asking questions and marveling at the experience. That third kite is for them.

Excellent performance. On a windy day, it goes up very easily. And the sting goes very far. My kids had a blast.

Easy to put together, works good! The only thing why I took a star off is one of the sticks shredded a little bit when I was connecting it and now I feel like there’s fiberglass on me. I couldn’t see what the material was made out of based off of the listing from Amazon, but just wanted to put a little warning that the sticks might be made from fiberglass.

My Grandchildren loved flying these kites it was so much fun and great quality and price for the kites.

I was looking for something for my 5 year old for kite day… it did not work well for him. First of all it’s about his height and was just way too big for him to handle. It is a nice kite though, just not child friendly like I assumed it was based on the description

If I could give this zero stars I would. All 3 kites just spin and dive into the ground. VERY unbalanced. No matter what you do, they just will not fly. I guess you get what you pay for.
