Great flavor! There was more in the package than it seemed. The freeze dried fruit was pretty light so the package seemed light but there was still a good amount for a snack. The colors were good. The fruit had a bit of a crunch which was pleasing. The texture was quite good. Overall an excellent snack. No added stuff, just fruit. I will buy this again.

This is great. I discovered that freeze dried fruit is way easier to eat than just dried fruit which is sometimes hard or rubbery and not easy to snack on at the office between calls since I am on the phone a lot. Where I normally get freeze dried fruit really only has apples, strawberries, bananas and blueberries, which are great, but I got this box for the oranges and peaches (apples too, but I have had the apples before). I have tried both and I will likely be ordering this box again. There are several packages and I can easily take them to work and have a snack that isn't so bad for me, easy to eat, and not messy. I have to admit I was skeptical about the oranges since you expect an orange to be juicy, but I do really like them. If you like other freeze dried fruit, I really don't think you will go wrong with these.

I bought an individual package from whole foods and bought the asian pear one for my toddler. She seemed to really like it so I decided to buy this bulk. This bulk comes with oranges, asian pears and apple. I tried the orange ones and it was SUPER sour. The baby and I didn't like that flavor much. She did like the apple and asian pear one since it was sweeter. The texture of these are like the "astronaut dried ice creams" except not that hard. It's very air-y and just melts in your mouth once you eat it. It's a little weird in texture, but babies seem to like this as it's also really easy to eat. You won't need teeth for this. Plus this is natural dried fruits, doesn't really have added sugars so I think this is a good snack for kids.

This is tasty and healthy as a grab and go snack. I dont like pears but freeze dried pears are awesome. Totally different texture. WARNING: the tangerines seeds sometimes get freeze dried in the fruit. They are nasty bitter. Enough to stop me from buying again? Nope. Just kinda wish I had known so I was physically prepared for that the first time it happened.

These are relatively cost-affective, and of course they keep well, so they can be handy to keep lying around. The flavors of the pear and apple bites are good, but the tangerine ones are extremely tart. It makes sense, but it's still not pleasant to eat. My main problem is that removing the moisture from fruit even beyond regular drying makes them pretty unsatisfying. I value fruit in my lunches to add sweetness and satiety, the latter largely due to the fiber, and these don't really cut it. Even if the nutrients are there, it's like eating air.

My family has always liked freeze-dried foods. It all started with Astronaut Ice Cream. Thankfully these fruit snacks are much healthier. Each package has .36 oz by dried weight which is not a very large amount but seems to be just about the right amount. If you are new to eating freeze-dried fruits you will definitely want to take it slow as it some times it takes new tummies a few smaller portions to get used to a new food type. Like almost anything it can make your stomach a little upset if you eat too much at one time. I am used to eating apples and pears and I found these to be quite good compared to the other brands I have tried in the past. The texture is great and the flavor is very good as well. These fruits must have been very good prior to freeze-drying and the perfect ripeness. Trying this Variety Pack was my first introduction to freeze-dried tangerine. I have not had dried citrus before. I must say that it was quite tart at first, but very good. I really like them now. They are my favorite actually. The sections are full size pieces of tangerine and the texture is crisp, and they just melt in your mouth. Very good. The only minor gripe I have is that I wish there were equal parts of each flavor and not more apples than the rest. I can understand that apples are much more economical for them to produce, but an equal mix would have been preferred by me. Otherwise I do have to give this brand and this variety pack 5 stars! I am glad I had the opportunity to try them. I have added them to my Subscribe and Save automatic delivery now! Hope this review helps. If your think about trying a heather snack alternative you may be really pleased.

Kids love them. We have these instead of chips. They have no artificial ingredients-- just some freeze dried fruit. Note, freeze dried, NOT dehydrated. These are not chewy, they are crispy. The oranges are a little weird in my opinion, but they are my kids favorite (ages 3, 2, and 2). The apples and pears are tangy. This is a great snack. I would recommend to anyone! Also, no allergens.

Whole family liked every flavor. Not a fan of the tangerine one myself but since tangerine is my kindergartner's fav & this is all about healthier snack times for her I have to give these 5 stars. These have a nice snap to them when you bite without being too hard. The feel in your hand and mouth is light & the natural sweetness is perfect. Not gummy or chewy like some dried brands can be. About as close to having a fresh picked apple or pear taste as you can get. Simply delicious. My only problem? They ran out way too fast ;).

A bit high in sugar (natural, none added) but a good snack for kids anyway

All the kids are enjoying all the flavors, easy to pack with us on outings. Contents of each bag isnt very much, but its perfect amount for a child sized snack.

Not terribly keen on getting food products from China.

Bought this for lunches for the kids, they taste terrible!
