This is the PERFECT gel pack for pain relief. I looked closely between several ice packs and different sizes and after using this ice pack 6 times a day for 2 weeks and more to come (shoulder rehab), I am completely convinced this is the PERFECT gel pack. There really is not even 1 thing I do not like and I am so glad I chose this one! There are lots of things I love about this gel pack: 1 The quality of this gel pack - the gel freezes quickly and lasts a very long time- I can easily leave it on for an hour rotating it between different places and it is still cold! impressed I have really loved the quality of this product- and am impressed with the high quality. Sometimes I wish the sections would prevent the gel from moving between sections and other times I can see the benefit of it. For the most part, it really does stay put which is great. 2. The size of this ice pack is perfect! I debated to know if this would be too small to cover my shoulder as well as some of my shoulder blade in the back and front shoulder muscles. However, it really is the perfect size- covers front and back generously without it being too big and too heavy. I would definitely recommend this size because if you need it a little smaller, you can easily fold in half or a third. Any bigger and it would be too big and too heavy. 3. The removable cover with 2 large adjustable Velcro steps sewn into the cover to keep the ice pack in place while you rest or are moving (one around your body and a shorter one for around your limb). On one side of the cover is thinner mesh which goes on your body and the other side of the cover is a thicker, soft fabric to keep the pack isolated better and warmer to touch. It is easy to remove the washable cover (held closed by long thin Velcro strips), put the ice pack in the freezer which prevents your ice pack from inadvertently smelling like the freezer! 4 Three semi closed sections of the gel pack- meaning the sections are not completely sealed off but there is a divider that provides a little bit of a barrier. This keeps the gel in its place for the most part and then you can manually put more gel in one section if you want (that takes a significant effort so it does not happen easily on its own with normal use, which I like- the best of both worlds)! 5. This purchase is FSA approved. After recovering this gel pack I can easily see how the quality allows it to be considered a professional product and not just a gel pack. 6. The company is amazing and great to work with. I got a coupon for a free gift and the gift was of higher value than my original purchase! And the high quality gift they sent as well. I’m so glad I purchased this one opposed to others I looked at. If only all companies provided such quality, and provided such great customer service. Really a 10 star purchase!!!

Love, love, love this hot and cold gel pack! As a long-time athlete who has participated in sports ranging from skydiving to road and mountain biking to inline speed skating to boxing classes, I'm no stranger to ice packs and heating pads. I literally have a drawer in my freezer dedicated to storing ice packs and a drawer in my dresser for heating pads and wraps. This is the first combination pack I purchased and I have to say I'm more than slightly impressed. The product came with a detailed booklet explaining about the product and how to use it on various parts of the body which was great - very helpful, well-written, and easy to understand. The product has a really nice, soft washable cover with velcro closure and elastic and velcro straps so you can basically attach it anywhere you want. You just take the plastic pack, made from heavy-duty materials, out of the cover (it has usage instructions printed on it, too!) and either microwave it or pop in the freezer. I've only had it four days and I've used the heat on my neck and shoulders and the ice pack on my knee after a long bike ride. Very practical, too. Most of my ice packs don't have covers so I've had to wrap them in a towel to protect my skin, so this was great. I'm hoping I won't have to use it too often, but it's great to have. I'm happy I ordered it and I highly recommend it!

2025 I’m never one to circle back to re-review or update but I’m feeling particularly grateful today for this product. I’ve had this same ice pack from the time of purchase and I use it 2-4 times a week. This thing is really my saving grace! I have hardware from a spine surgery and If I sleep weird or over due it at the gym I feel instantly better after having this pack on my back for 15 min. The shop owners also sent me a lavender eye mask which I love. Worth every penny!!! 2021 I am very excited about this product! I use the PhysioNatural ice pack after my workout to reduce swelling and inflammation in my back. It works like a charm and definitely beats using a standard ice pack held in place with a scarf! It also stays cold for a long time too which is nice. I highly recommend this product!

Huge gel pack that thankfully covers my whole shoulder at once. I've just had rotator cuff surgery so it's a tad heavy but as long as I'm not trying to do too much, it's good. I love that it straps on to I'm free to move about. The gel stays cold, not frozen but at least cold, longer than other ice packs. I did notice the condensation dripping a bit the other night but it wasn't too bad. All in all a good buy for shoulder surgery!

Just tried this out for the first time today as an ice pack. It stays cold for AGES! I love how much area it covers and how the sleeve makes it easy to handle. I've been using hot packs for most of my muscle aches, but they're not always enough for the inflammation I get behind my left shoulder blade, and I don't always feel like using them in the summer. Today I iced my shoulder down after working out, and so far none of the usual flare-ups. Will definitely keep on using it. I kind of wish it were easier to arrange the straps sideways, to take more advantage of how it bends, but that doesn't really affect me since I'll mostly be using it on my back, and otherwise it's perfect. It even came with an extra detachable strap, so I'm sure I can improvise with that if I end up needing to wrap it width-wise around a limb. Very happy with it!
