Soccer Rebounder Net by Soccer Wave | SoccerWave Jr. 2 in 1 Skill Trainer | Designed to Refine Trapping and Passing Accuracy

So I will admit, I was initially a little nervous about this purchase due to some negative reviews, but I decided to go with the majority and give this rebounder a try. Of all the ones I had seen in stores and researched online, the SoccerWave I received is much better quality. Additionally it seems the owners are responding to input from the consumer. The nets no longer have the eyelets that some reviews complained about fraying and they have now provided extra bungees. So I would like to give a thorough review to help others on the fence. The Pros: • Arrived double packaged, with each piece wrapped in twos with foam wrapping and sleeves over the bars to avoid scratching against each other. • The net is a very thick weave, which seems to be coated with something, I’m guessing to help with sun damage. • Bungees are color coded to where they go on the net, and feel very durable. As stated before, I was provided with several extras. • Metal tubing is a thick gauged steel, with a orange (1 black) powder coating. All the welds look to be good, but I could see where defects could have occurred. • It came with ground stakes to help give the SoccerWave extra stability when outside. The Cons: • Because the net has to have tension, it is hard to avoid pinched fingers when putting on the bungees. And although I was able to put the net together without doing the steps calling for disassembling a previous step, not everyone will be able to. • One square bar got scratched during assembly when trying to fit between the mounts. It seems like it fit during prefab until it was powder coated. • The instructions are a little vague. They tell you everything you need to assemble it, but you will have to look back and forth at different pictures to know which bar goes where. If they added a sticker to identify the bars, most of the confusion would be gone. Two different pins are provided but it never says where to use which pin. Overall, SoccerWave takes around 30 – 45 minutes to assemble, but once its done it is well worth your time. The frame is sturdy, the net durable, and for my kids and myself, the fun lasting. The more both me & my children use it, the more we enjoy it, and having two sides for two kids is especially a nice bonus. Performance-wise I will admit I had trouble making it work the way the YouTube videos show at first, but it all had to do with the pace on the ball. As we increased the pace the return got higher. It made me get out of the ‘kick it to me’ thinking and move to receive the return. So, I think for me, this is a highly recommended purchase.

This is a fantastic trainer and work out. I am an older guy who really can;t play games anymore due to injuries, but would rather work out with a soccer ball than walk or cycle( although I do those activities also) This is well built and SIMPLE TO ASSEMBLE!!! I was almost scared off by reviews that implied difficulty in assembly. Read the instructions and take your time(35-40 minutes).Light and easily transported. I like to position it about 20 yards from a wall, with the wall at my back. This allows me to have the ball served back to me by THE WAVE then turn and shoot or pass at the wall, take that rebound and turn to pass the ball at the WAVE and be in perpetual motion.This product will improve ability to trap pass and turn, BALL CONTROL. I have only owned it a week, and if it fails in any way I will report. Nets will eventually wear out, but replacements are available for 35 dollars. Watch the youtube assembly, it is simple.

I suppose what I mean by that 'headline' is there are literally dozens of skills and situation that can be set up with this training tool. I've coached youth soccer for over ten years. For purposes of a first touch, settling and passing accuracy combination tool, I've not seen one better. We received if for Easter, and my twins(13 yr olds) have already used it several times. We had a question after unboxing it, and (even on Easter) received a helpful response within two hours of submitting our question. The directions are a bit lacking in detail, just follow the steps and you'll figure it out. No tools are needed but I did need my 13 year old to help me put the nets on correctly. It can assemble in 45 minutes, probably faster by someone better at assembling things(likely a lot of you out there). I highly recommend this as a backyard training tool. I can't comment on longevity of the product as we've only had it for just over a week, but it is on a sturdy frame and seems very well constructed.

Would love to give this a five but it is a touch to small. Have used this daily for about two weeks with myself, adult, and a ten year old. It is a great product and great concept but maybe a foot to foot and a half taller wood make a huge difference. Width is just right as it can slide into the back of a van, but the vertical height just doesn't seem right. Having said that I am still very happy with this purchase, this is a great practice tool and is probably more beneficial than most plain rebounders, just seems a little too small.

As a former professional soccer player and now as a Director of Coaching at a youth soccer club, the SoccerWave Jr is a first rate product. As I youth coach I can highly recommend the SoccerWave Jr. The kids love to use it, they really start to focus on their technique as it enables them to practice judging the direction of the ball when it's in the air. The SoccerWave Jr is great for improving timing and decision making. It encourages young soccer players to anticipate and adapt as every rebound is different. Excellent for both individual or group practices. I have found it's also a great tool for shooting practices by using the curve net or the rebound net as you can move it to different angles around the edge of the box. The possibilities are plenty and I know there are many online videos with Ideas for coaching drills using the SoccerWave. Most important thing is that the kids will have endless fun, improving their skills and technique at the same time. Youth, Amateur, Professional level, this is a very good product.

The overall construction is good and it works great, but the netting on the curved side is too tight. Not long after putting it together, the stitching on the bottom right pocket started coming apart and has gotten progressively worse. I'm not sure how long it will last.

This is a High quality, durable rebounder.; I have no concerns that it will last a few years of use! We bought this rebounder after reading a dozen reviews on quite a few other products. Upon arrival, we noticed that this rebounder is made of solid metal bars; there's no shoddy welding or plastic components. Additionally, the nets are stretched quite taught (it may require two adults to assemble die to how tight you need to pull the nets). The taught nets allow for quite a strong rebound off the vertical hey, and a nice arc off the curved net. You will definitely need to stake the rebounder into the ground due to the recoil of the net during passes. The instructions leave a bit of ambiguity; make sure you thoroughly review the assembly and the photo, it you may find yourself disassembling it because you didn't assemble it in the correct order. Highly recommend!

This rebounder is of solid Construction and the idea of what it does is nice, but once you try it, it does not work as advertised. I don't know what soccerwave they use on the videos that you see on YouTube but as some of the other reviews mention, it is very difficult to get the ball up in the air. You have to hit The Sweet Spot, and that happens only once every 30 times if you get lucky. The assembly is nearly impossible unless you're Superman. It is definitely not portable. I just wish this company was more open and real about what the product really does, and how difficult it would be to assemble it. I feel like they use false advertisement to sell the product at $124 but for what it does and the troubles it should be no more than $30 I returned the item.

Viel zu lange Lieferzeit. Überall macken an den Stangen (Farbe abgeplatzt) Befestigungen für Gestänge verbogen und kein ebenerdiger stand über die ganze Breite. Hätte ich das Gerät nicht dringend für ein Fussballcamp benötgt und dort erst aufgebaut dann wäre es zurück gegangen.
