Great small vertical planter
They aren’t thick plastic but they are a good design and great for plants with shorter roots. I live in Georgia and I had my bell peppers in a covered raised bed but since fall/winter is odd here where one day it will go below freezing at night then the next week 80 during the day and well above freezing I just transplanted them into this so they can go in the portable greenhouse. I now have three of these set up with six tiers each and planted my lettuces in the additional. They have a hole running down the middle so I have the green garden stakes you can buy at the garden center going down the middle to give them some additional support. I didn’t use the chain that was provided. It seemed more sturdy to use a pole. They are pretty stable on a flat level surface if you had them in your home though. I don’t love the water doesn’t flow down through the tiers from the top but you could poke small holes in in the bottom so it does. It has a tray on the bottom that can catch excess water. I do like that they provide the plastic barrier so excess water goes under that. Unless the roots are long enough your plants can’t take advantage of it though. So, the only thing I would do differently is place pieces of rope that hang in the water and go up into the dirt so it pulls water up. My lettuce seedlings I have to water every day because I didn’t think about that until I finished planting them. The nice thing is that, yes, they aren’t super deep but as you can see from the photo it’s one big pot so the plants roots have room to spread. I will continue to use these as long as they hold up. By planting vertically it’s allowing me to save space and I can grow more since I am limited to the greenhouse in the winter.

Easy to put together and use
This is nice and sturdy and cute enough to keep inside so I used one for herbs only. The other i will put next to the bunnies outside to grow their food. I may order a few more.

Fair quality
The pots are a little on the smaller side but they’re sufficient for a single strawberry plant each. They do need planted at a slight angle to not be smushed. I wish the pots were slightly bigger / stuck out further from the higher tier. They aren’t super thick plastic but they aren’t the thinnest plastic either. They’re fair quality for the price. Don’t be fooled by the cute little shovels.. they bend super easy. ),

Great for limited space, indoor or porch garden!!
Really happy with this product! It seems sturdy and comes with everything you need to start planting! It comes with slotted discs to place at the bottom of each container for drainage. There are holes at the bottom of each container for drainage as well. It also comes with a metal chain for hanging, so you can stack, hang, or both. I really like that it's so versatile in how it can be used. Keep in mind the 5-stack planter only stands about 2 feet high and is about 1½ feet wide. There is obviously limited space for the plants to grow, but this is great for an inside garden or limited space outside. It's also great if you have problems bending over or kneeling in the garden. The only thing I didn't like, was that it didn't come with anything to "lock" each container in it's place, so they just sit on top on each other. I'm sure once I put soil inside, it will help prevent any of the planters getting knocked off, but I feel like there should be something to help keep each container attached. Will update my review once I get things planted inside!

Bottom tiers do not get enough light
Fairly easy to assemble. There are stability issues when you stack the tiers. Easy to knock over Helps to put a dowel in the center, but still too light even when filled with potting soil. When fully assembled I observed that the lower tiers were shadowed by the upper tiers resulting in uneven light distribution. Will not work well for strawberries which require bright light. Too shallow for anything other than herbs. Not recommended.

Sturdy, easy to build and a great value!
We needed a new place to grow strawberries, and these were just the thing! They were very easy to fill with soil and stack as well. It includes a hook so you can hang these as well. We stacked five stacks of strawberries and have them hanging, which protects them at least from squirrels and the like. They work great, they're easy to build and sturdy too!

Easy to assemble, works as should. Can hang or use on a table plant stand. Seems sturdy with strong material.

Smaller growable space that you’d think
I am not sure how people hang these, they are heavy with water and soil (and I used perlite, coco, vermiculite.. very light, but water absorbent). Each section, has a small water reservoir, with 2 overflow holes. I only did one, but one held roughly 1cup - 1.25 cups until over flow. This of course was tested without soil. You can see in the picture that I have some shivs under to level them easier. Without they all drain forward. It took maybe ¾ of a gallon to get everything saturated with the soil. I have only done surface watering since then. I decided to start everything, on an 3 season porch, only heated with a space heater up to 68F°. Grocery store potatoes and garlic have sprouted. Radish, carrot, and beet mix are sprouting. A basic cut leaf salad mix, and hopefully some beans and flowers soon along with some herbs and chives. The chain supplied to hang it I think would be better used with something else. It’s pretty heavy, but I just don’t think it can really support this with tiny metal disk they supply. Get enough windy days, and the friction I think would damage the bottom. Once stacked, your growing room reduces except for the top. I realized this before purchasing, but it’s by quite a bit once stacked. I think proper planning with how things grow definitely needs to happen. My plans changed quite a bit by the end. I think the addition of some basic water float monitors, and a small hole (requiring a water can) to fill when you don’t want to top fill. Also, a drain hole in the bottom for when there’s too much water draining.

Produit telle qu il est présenté. Content. Un peu plus petit de ce à quoi je m'attendais. Et donc un peu cher pour ça. Mais sinon rien à dire
