Great, inexpensive shelving option.
I needed a better way to store my Bambu P1S printer and filament. This was an excellent solution! ✅ What I Like: This is a lot of shelf for the price! The shelf height is customizable, which makes it perfect for setting it up the way you need it. You can configure the shelves to be flat or more like a tray Super easy to put together. It took about 10 minutes. Came with some plastic hooks that fit into the keyholes. Not sure about the weight limit on these, but perfect for hanging things like masks and goggles. ⚠️ What Could Be Better: Even though this is solid, there is still some play with the unit as a whole. This means it can wiggle a bit. However, this is likely due to the way I have this configured, since I'm not using all the shelves. So, adding the extra shelf would help stabilize the unit. 💬 Summary: I'm not going to deduct a star for stability, as I'm pretty positive that adding in the missing shelf would solve the issue. This unit looks great in my garage, but I think it would also look good inside the home as well (depending on the color choice). It was very simple to put together, and the configuration options make it perfect for multiple use-cases. There is a weight limit, so when placing your items, be mindful of how you distribute the weight (heavy on the bottom). 💡 Final Thoughts: Would I buy it again? Yes Would I recommend it to others? Yes

Perfect shelves
I recommend these to anyone asking about shelves. I got two sets tornedo a stairs closet and will probably get more for anywhere else I need shelving. They're easy to assemble and have options for shelving needs (lip/no lip/angle). They are super sturdy. My friends run an organizing company and they're the ones who recommended them. I adore them!

Perfect for small business owner
I have two of these selves to hold my candles and fragrance oils for my workshop in the basement. It makes it easy to store and organize the candles. I love the multi use of the shelves making it easy to switch it up if I need to use the shelf for something else. I use the basket style to hold the candles while the flat surface style hold the plastic containers holding my fragrance oils. It is pretty sturdy for me event with the uneven basement floor. It could be the weight of the candles help with that. For me it is totally worth the money and was easy to assemble. My only disappointment is that you can't buy extra shelves. My candles aren't that large so I could easily add two more shelves to each unit. Hopefully one day that will change.

Actually impressive, mostly
They're shelves, how bad could they be, right? The answer of course is "very very bad." But these shelves are very much not. I put these kind of shelves into two categories: so good that they're impossible to put together (and cost a fortune,) and so bad they won't stay together (yet somehow still cost a fortune.) Homedant has managed to find a pretty good balance between the two with these. The packaging was genuinely well thought out, and they arrived undamaged - something that doesn't happen often with shelves like these. Either because they weigh 200lbs or they use paper instead of cardboard. But these are the smallest shelves, so your mileage may vary. They did think to put thick corrugated cardboard between parts that might be scratched or broken. They come with instructions. You really won't need them. As soon as you get the parts out, everything makes obvious sense. Peel off the plastic bits and stick them on sharp edges. Bang uprights and horizontals with a large rubber mallet until they're seated. Drop laminate shelf in. It definitely is awkward to do solo, but not impossible. You can mix and match flat, lip, and slant as you please without any part of it requiring a PhD in mechanical engineering. Spacing of the mounts is also great because it gives a lot of flexibility in configuration. Obviously the big question is: how do they look and how sturdy are they? The black finish and laminate on the shelves arrived with no scratches and was very consistent. That's really all you care about there. As far as sturdiness? Once assembled they definitely don't want to come apart easily, but it wants to sway when you're moving it or you push hard on it. And the shelf boards on mine were probably a quarter inch short on two sides so they want to move around. But once I installed the shelf boards and added some weight, it did feel much more stable. They claim 264lbs per shelf, and the framing definitely feels up to the task, but the boards very much do not and definitely want to move around in the frame. That's my biggest complaint. Still, I feel like it's a good quality shelf for what I paid and what I use it for. The engineering on these is quite good, so I don't have concerns about the frame. But if you're loading it up more, I would probably suggest using the included wall anchors or possibly stronger boards.

Well designed and high-quality build
Some big plusses: - Easy to put together. Snaps together - no need for any tools. Instructions are extremely easy. - Quality construction and parts. Heavy duty steel parts. The mdf shelf bottoms are very solid and the resistance to water damage is great and unique for that type of product. - Great design. Simple and works. Big plus that shelves can be adjusted independently after it is constructed. This is a big advantage over the basic wireframe shelving units that require taking off all shelves above to adjust a single shelf. Another design advantage is the flexibility in constructing shelves (which can also be changed later for a single shelf without affecting other shelves). Each shelf can either have the bottom on top, sunk in so that the sides are raised, or sloped (good for cans/bottles). - Flexible configuration. It comes with all the parts to configure as 2 half-height units or a single tall one. It also includes a part to connect multiple units on their sides. Negatives (you can decide how important but I still gave it 5-stars): - No ability to buy an extra shelf. With my use, the 5 shelves leave a lot more space than needed. It would have been a lot of value if I could purchase a extra shelf. Also, the feature allowing sloped shelves for cans/bottles really leaves a lot of extra vertical space where extra shelves would help. - Industrial/garage look. It's ok for my art studio use, but the adjustment holes in the support columns are very visible and this looks like something that goes in a garage.

Shelves go together easy and look great
Nice looking steel framed shelves. No shipping damage. Flawless white paint over the steel. Easy to put together without tools, though a rubber mallet might be useful. Once it is all together feels plenty strong. Well worth the price.

Homedant for the Win!
Homedant 5 shelf steel shelving unit Perfect fit for a small (think hobbit-small), 1 bedroom apt (think 475 sq ft). I ordered this unit foremost for its dimensions, specifically that it was no more than 29 inches wide. It’s a great fit next to one of those regular-sized 4 tiered, steel storage units that you can find just about anywhere (photo: the Homedant is the unit on the right). The contents were nicely organized and everything was included. Mine did not come with a mallet. Pros-variations of support beams. I have mine set to “basket” around two-thirds of the shelf—sides & back—& “basic” on the front (see photo). -it has 5 shelves. -the boards are reversible: white on one side, natural grain on the other. Cons-like others have commented, the manual’s instructions are confusing. Definitely watch the videos, then the manual will make more sense. -not the easiest one person job, initially, but accomplish-able. Takeaways: Don’t be put off that it feels “flimsy” when 1st assembling it. Once everything’s connected, it becomes quite sturdy and secure. Definitely use a rubber mallet or hammer with a towel to secure the beams to the frame. Try to assemble it near its intended location. It will be easier to move once you’re finished. Otherwise, I recommend that 2 people move it when it comes time for that. Don’t go over the specified 264lb weight limit. I have mainly paper for crafting/card-making on mine, with a few other odds & ends as well, none of which will have problems being under limit. So far, I’m completely happy with this storage unit. It feels sturdy, holds quite a bit, and was the perfect size for my needs. I’m not sure why others gave it negative reviews, or how the one broke from someone else on here? Feels like a keeper to me. I 100% recommend it. If anything changes, I’ll update.

Very satisfied!!!!
I spent a lot of time to find really well designed and sturdy rack for my garage, and I finally found it! It took only 10-15 min to assemble it by myself. Very very satisfied. One of the best products I have ever ordered from Amazon.

Wow
Rapport qualité prix excellent. Étagère assez solide et extrêmement facile à monter, je dirais que c’est le meuble le plus facile à construire que j’ai fais. J’achèterais de nouveau.
