Nova Self retracting Squeeze Trigger Knife, Heavy Duty Box cutter, Utility Knife, Ambidextrous Design, Replaceable and Durable Blade, Ideal for cutting Boxes

I have purchases three of these so far! They are so easy to use with the squeeze mechanism, they can handle a heavy job, and are so much safer to use. I have two, and bought one for a stocking stuffer!

Safety feature with locking is better than standard retractable. It's lightweight but durable. After 6+months it's still almost like new. Easy blade change. The safety knife is safer than the safety knives at work. (A safety knife with a strong spring where you can't keep the blade out consistently is not really safe).

Self retracting is great for box cutters. Easy to use and not worry about being cut

Very useful if you open a lot of boxes. The safety features ensure that you won’t cut yourself taking it out of a drawer, etc.

Does not take standard utility blades. My fault for not looking close enough. Plastic is pretty thin/light feeling. Not expecting it to last the 100 blades I have to order. Retraction is awesome. It cannot be locked with blade out but I don't see this being an issue. Ultimately an awesome design but proprietary blades is annoying.

Love this box cutter. I have been using it for about a year and haven't looked back. I much prefer a handle activation button to a push button near the blade slot. The blade lock at the button is another great feature to ensure the blade does not activate while in your pocket. Also, as minor as this is, I like the green color theme.

Blade does stay in securely at all.

What a sweet box cutter, I can tell you that! It has the safety lock and a switch to switch and hold to pull a blade out of box cutter. The size is average (bitter my big hands XD). the product is really easy to use and really convenient all you have to do is grip the trigger and the blade pops out and it can also be easily locked so it can be put in your pocket without accidently sitting on the trigger and getting poked by the blade

Decent knife but takes an oddball blade size - standard utility knife blades do not fit.

Knife is fine. Joke is NO source of blades for Canada. From anywhere else - shipping, Fx and minimums mean its way cheaper to toss it and buy another knife.

Pros: Simple to use//Adequate safety features Cons: Replacement blades are difficult to source & expensive//Material feels cheap.
