I used these buckets for party favors for a beach themed birthday party. I put a beach ball, magic sand, temporary tattoos and candy inside. Because I was using them for party favors I didn't need anything too big or fancy, but I was very impressed with these sand buckets. I looked at many different sand buckets on various sites and these were the least expensive. They are bigger to me than I thought they would be. There was plenty of room for the candy and party favors I put inside. They are perfect for using at the beach/with sand also. Colors are all true to the picture.

I used these for beach theme I did in my front yard. I poked a hole in the bottom and planted flowers in them. Within a day someone had stolen two of them. If used for the actual purpose - durable.

These buckets made the perfect summer birthday gift bag! Instead of using bags for party favors I used the buckets and filled the buckets instead. The kids played in the water at a splash pad, later. It made for a party favor that was actually useful! They’re perfect size for toddlers. The buckets are strong(er) and sturdy. And the colors are nice and vibrant! The shovels are dainty and break easily. So can the handles on the buckets. They just can’t be “man handled” and they’ll last!

Used the holders for party favors at my sons “digging 2” birthday party. Kids were more excited to use the bucket to dig in sand than what we actually put in the bucket.

Packaged nicely and great colors - but both the pails and shovels cracked and broke within an hour of playing at the beach….

The buckets are OK but brittle. The shovels flimsy rubbish. How anyone can claim they are suitable for ages 3-10 is beyond me. Older children will destroy them in minutes.

Kids loved the colors and size

These buckets are paperthin. They broke in the first couple of times using them.

I ordered this for the buckets since it claimed they were 'strong' - plastic is thin and flexible, similar to a yogurt tub. Handles feel so flimsy I doubt they'd last one trip to the beach (I have toddlers). Shovels also were very flimsy but most sand shovels I've seen are and I've switched to using secondhand garden trowels. I returned these.
