7.8 carbon arrows

Beginner review. This is my first set of arrows so I'm not the best to review, but I thought other new archers might benefit. The arrows seem consistent and well made for my purposes. The packaging was very good to keep them from getting damaged. For $30, I'd say you can't beat it. As far as durability, I think they will hold up well. One wayward shot that went straight into a 2x4 rendered the tip useless, but at least it unscrews and can be replaced. The set came with extra nocks as well which I'm sure will come in handy. Will purchase again.

All seems well except I do have to tighten the back of the arrow after shooting it because it tends to get loose. I do not have much experience with arrows and that should be easily solved with some thread locker. They are durable and well made. Consistent. Happy. Definitely a great option.

These arrows were nicely packaged with foam blocks to separate them and keep them from rattling. The arrows are perfectly straight, the vanes are glued on well and evenly spaced. They came complete with field tips that only needed tightening. However, during the pre-use inspection, I noticed that the nocks were not fitted properly. NOT ONE single nock was aligned with the cock vane. This is basic archery 101. The nocks were glued in. I should be able to carefully detach them with a little effort and realign them. I will now have to correct, if I can, an error that should not have been allowed to pass production much less leave the warehouse.. UPDATE 7/5/2018 The nock issue has been resolved. The nocks were too tight to adjust with only finger pressure but a pair of pliers was all that was needed. The arrows shoot very well. They are longer and heavier than the wood arrows I have been using and I suspect they will perform even better with my homebuilt 45# PVC bow.

These arrows are tough as nails! I have a large piece of plywood behind my target, because sometimes I bugger up a shot. Maybe your neighbors are cool, but my neighbors get super cranky if they find my arrows in their house/kids/pets/etc (they make frowny face at me for weeks, and often make surly, unkind remarks). I was afraid the carbon fiber shafts would splinter or shatter if I nailed the ply with them. NOPE! I've piled these into the ply, up to the shaft, and they don't have a crack, split, chip, nor scratch. Being carbon fiber, they are... STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW, HA! And will forever stay that way. I also like the long fletching, as it does a fantastic job of ensuring they fly true (I don't trust short fletching, and neither should you). My recurve bow has one of those abusive, plastic, stick-on arrow rests (Don't judge me!), and the fletching looks perfect after dozens and dozens of shots. The tips are quite pointy, and the set came with extra nocks, even though I haven't had to use any.

I've been using these arrows for about 5 months now and have shot each arrow about 500 times. They're more accurate than my aim and have held up well. The vanes look like new and the shafts are straight. I had a problem with the points but it was because I was abusing them: occasionally they would impact a heavy plywood sheet behind hay bales (otherwise they would sometimes go right through the bales and into the woods) and the points would separate from the shaft. I bought a decent archery target and glued the bushings back in with Gorilla Glue epoxy and haven't had any more problems. After 500 shots, the nock cracked on one of the arrows, but the arrows are shipped with about a half a dozen spare nocks so it was easily replaced. I've been impressed with them all-around and I think they're a bargain. Recommended!

Arrows seem to be decent quality, but I’ve only just gotten into archery about two weeks ago, and even I noticed the nocks are off by 90 degrees on every single arrow. Wasn’t a super big deal as you can hold the nocks in a pair of pliers and turn the shaft 90 degrees to fix them. Not a deal breaker but come on…

The function fine out of my 35 lb and 45 lb recurve bows.
