Does this help soften mucus at corners of dogs eyes

I'm not sure...however, this is a lubricant and it should. I didn't buy the drop vet plus eye lubricant for the soft mucus. But I have treated one of my other dogs for this exact same thing. What you could do is put this in the corner of the dog's eyes and take a cotton ball and dab/wipe the mucus away.

When I purchased it awhile ago the expiration date was September 2018.
