Great lantern
These small lanterns are very bright. Because they are collapsible they are easy to store. Appreciate you can either charge it by solar or the provided usb cord. I put them in a guest bedroom under a window that gets a lot of sunlight to keep them charged and they are small enough that they are tucked away for the next power outage or if you just need a really bright flashlight it’s charged and ready to use.

Nice and Bright!
Bought these lights to have on hand in case of power outages at home and they are great. I leave them near a window in the basement so they are always charged when i need them . They are super bright and can illuminate very large rooms. I love that you can use it as a lantern or a like a flash light. The solar or USB charging options are also very convenient. These are a must buy for camping or for around the house incase of power outages.

Light lasts a long time
Ok.. these were. Or expensive. I won’t be caught again without light next time the power goes out and these are part of the plan plus they’ll make camping trips nice. I ran this lantern down intentionally to see how long it would take. After 24 constant hours it grew dimmer, but remained bright enough to light my way in a dark room for like 4 days. Finally it was dim enough I considered the test over and moved on to solar charging. The solar panel seems oddly under engineered, not even using half of the space available on that surface. I let it charge in the sun for 2.5 days and it did seem to get brighter but definitely not back to the original brightness of a full charge. Avoid setting on a sunny window sill if it’s a single pain.. this thing will get really hot in some cases. I do like that you can use a lantern handle to prop it at 45 degrees to point the panel at the sun. I’ll let this thing charge passively in my basement window in indirect light for a couple weeks and report back. For me all 4 units arrived in working order unlike a few reviews I read. I have not yet tested charging a device from this thing but it only has like 1400 mha so I’m not sure that’s a super practical use for this thing. The flashlight option is nice to have but I would give it up for a better solar panel. All in all; considering the run time I think they’re pretty solid. Would like to see better solar charging in the case of extended power outage but, I imagine if left to charge each day and run only for a few hours each night these would stand a chance of staying charged indefinitely. Wish I knew the watts coming in on the solar.. it can’t be more than .. 3-4? I’m not an expert though. UPDATE - I left this to solar charge for maybe 5 weeks. It simply doesn't seem to happen. The solar panel is either fake, so minor as to basically be fake, or only powerful enough to light up the tiny red LED. I wouldn't count at all on the solar capability of these. Go another way if that's the deciding factor for you. However, they recharge fast and light for a very long time. and they're pretty dang inexpensive.

These Lanterns Should Be in Everyone's Emergency/Safety Kit!
The perfect lantern for power outages, or when your utility company asks you to save energy for a few hours at peak periods, camping, and more. If you've ever relied on candles or old-fashioned oil lamps during extended power outages, you know how unpleasant the air can get -- kerosine, cheap candle wax, or heavily scented candles can make the air feel and smell heavy over extended use time. And consider the risks of flames. Set those concerns aside and add LED camping lanterns from Xtauto to your survival/camping gear. They ARE lightweight, easily charge by USB, and the charge lasts an incredibly long time. Whether used as a flashlight or lantern, the light is bright enough to easily read by, set up gear, light a dark area for safe walking, etc. The one thing I haven't needed to do (yet) is to try using the solar recharge system. I bought a 4-pack of lanterns to use in a number of areas in the house during emergencies. Again, it is amazing how long these lanterns hold a charge -- MONTHS (when fully charged and stored), and HOURS when in use. No need to fumble with small or awkward on/off switches, either -- just adjust the carry handles to the Up position and pull on the body to activate the lantern. Or, press the button on the side of the base and the flashlight is on! Easy to charge, easy to use, powerful light, a great find!

Great LCD lanterns for camping or outdoor parties or keeping around in case of power outage
These are great! Very bright light, they collapse into a flash light. They have 3 hangers in various places so you can hang them any way you want. I do wish they had carabiners attached to make hanging easier, but I can buy those and add them on. I also wish they used USB C for charging, but they take USB mini (micro? I get those two mixed up). They can either one cable for each lamp, so I have plenty of cables, but it would have been more convenient to use C. I charged them via the USB mini connection. The charge lasted over 12 hours in the lantern that I accidentally left on all night. I did not try to recharge with solar, so I can’t comment on that. I got these for camping. Thinking about getting another set to scatter around the house in case of power outage or need to go outside at night.

Decent but with a lot of flaws
These lights are don’t feel real sturdy and feel kinda cheap BUT they do give off a good bit of light and work as intended. They do have a major CON though. There is no battery level indicator. We will have no idea when the batteries are about to drain and need recharging. As I have not had a chance to use them in an emergency yet I don’t know how long they last before they drain or how long it takes to charge via solar. Another con is for everyday use like walking the dog or whatever it doesn’t fit well in your hand as a flashlight. It’s bulky for that with no side handle to hold it as a flashlight. But as a lantern for camping or emergencies it will do. I think I will keep these as I got them on sale and for the price I paid they are decent. I will keep looking for a solar rechargeable flashlight that will work for everyday use as a flashlight and not just a lantern. You can never be too prepared to have too may light sources.

Essential items
Great product. An essential in case of power outage. Small enough for apartment cabinet storage, displays a bright light, plug to charge the phone, and a convenient handle.

Great little lights for emergencies — awesome 4-pack value
These XTAUTO solar flashlights are super handy and surprisingly bright. They charge fast by USB or sunlight, and the waterproof design makes them perfect for camping or power outages. Lightweight, durable, and easy to keep around the house or in the car. Great value for four — definitely worth it for backup lighting.

Fantastic Lanterns
Bought these lanterns for power outages. They are amazing. Battery lasted 3 days when on full the entire time. They do not take long to charge and have a solar charging option, which I have not tried yet. Can carry as a lantern, set on table or use as a flashlight. Great product, reasonable price. Good for emergencies or camping. I recommend this product.
