The talk of my neighborhood!
This cart is the talk of my neighborhood! This is the most convenient and well designed cart Iโve ever used. I get stopped on the street and asked about it every time I leave the house with it. Itโs so easy to use and convenient. I can lift the top level up and put tall items on the bottom level to transport, the wheels detach and have a designated storage space on the bottom of the cart for it to take even less space, everything folds up so well, and thereโs a brake so it wonโt move while putting stuff into it. Very sturdy too. Love it!

Make Shopping Much Easier and Simpler and Help Eliminate Modern Day Tumbleweed!
One way to help eliminate modern day tumbleweed is to get your groceries at the store with your CLAX. The cart might seem expensive at first, but it is well worth the price. It is well made, lightweight, folds up very easy and stores in the back of my wife's car taking up very little room. We get a lot of stares when we shop with our CLAX and are frequently asked where we got it. The fold up basket that comes with the CLAX holds a good deal of groceries. A second fold up basket for the bottom is an additional $39. I found a second basket that fits (but does not fold up) that holds equally as much. When checking out at the grocery, we take out the individual items for the checker's conveyer, and then pass the CLAX through so the bagger can just re-insert the groceries directly right back into the baskets WITHOUT BAGS!!!.When you get to your car, you simply put your baskets of food in the car along with your folded up CLAX and off you go. When home, the reverse. Unfold the CLAX, load the baskets, and then roll inside the house. Simple as that, and extraordinarily convenient, and best of all, NO BAGS!!! Honestly, my CLAX probably will not hold the maximum amount of groceries a typical grocery cart is designed to carry, but if your grocery shopping is taxing the limits of your favorite grocery store's carts, then perhaps maybe you should consider get a second CLAX to compliment the first. You won't be sorry.

Great Cart
This is a great cartโitโs easy to set up and use. I keep it in the back of my covered truck bed and use it to carry items (range bag, firearms, ammo, shooting rest, & targets) used at the indoor shooting range. It makes it very easy to get through any doors and everything is easily reached once inside the range. No more bags slipping off your shoulder, banging things against the door frames, or making multiple trips to get everything inside. The same applies to packing everything back up for the return trip to the truck. This works well where you have sidewalks and smooth floors as the wheels glide along with little effort. The brake operated with your foot keeps the cart in place when needed. The release on the handle allows for multiple positions and is used to fold the cart flat and place in the back of the truck bed.Iโm sure there are dozens of ideas for using this cart - for me, it was a great solution for the indoor shooting range.I did have a malfunction with the provided crate. One of the pins holding the end panel in place broke, and now the crate requires some manipulation to open and/or collapse. I notified the company of the problem and hope they will provide a replacement. If not, I can probably come up with a method to fix it myself.

Multipurpose and top quality
Love my cart. I've used it to move boxes between apartments, take it to the supermarket to do my shopping and take it back home on foot, and to take my dog when we have a long walk.I took it internationally in a large suitcase. I appreciated the wheels coming off and fitting at the bottom of the cart. It opens and closes smoothly as advertised. The quality is excellent, while it's light.Highly recommended.

WOW and UPDATE
This the most perfect little buggy for grocery shopping. I whiz around the market with such easeโ- the wheels are super smoothโ- the cart is so lightโ- perfect compact sizeโ- other shoppers are banging around with the huge market baskets and I weave in and out of the crowd with my little Clax. Itโs Amazing. I donโt have to fight with the metal carts nor do I have to worry about touching the public carts nor do I have to use those wipes to clean the germs off. All that extra hassle is eliminated with this Clax buggy. Itโs SO easy to unfold out of the back of my Jeep. Just the touch of that one button and it opens right up. The crate that it comes with is also super easy to open and fold. I run around the market collecting my items and then roll right up to the cashier where they ask me if I need any bags and I say โNOPE โ- just put everything right back into the crate!โ I then roll right on out of there and straight to my car where I can either unload the groceries into my cold bags or I can just leave the items in the crate, set the crate into the back of my Jeep and then click the one button on the buggy and it collapses flat with ease. It fits so perfectly into the back. Itโs so much easier to use than a stroller. I drive home and unloading the groceries is easyโ- I can either carry the crate full of the groceries straight into my home and unload into the kitchen. Or if itโs too heavy, I can just use the Clax buggy to wheel the crate i to the house unload and then take the Clax back to the car, leaving it ready for the next shopping trip. BTW, every where I go with the Clax someone stops me and commentsโ- telling me itโs so cool, and asking where I got it and how much did it cost. I think the price is WELL worth it. This has completely changed my shopping experience to that of enjoyment and ease. I get to do my own thing without the fight and hassle of using the public carts. And also, I donโt have to return the cart after unloading into my car. With my Clax I have my own little buggy and I zip in and out and go home. Itโs really cute. I got the one with the green accent. Just because of green for groceries. Get this. It will improve your life.UPDATE JULY 2025:Itโs been over a year and this buggy continues to be the best purchase and value. I get compliments on it every time I go to the market. I even take it with me to the mall. I take it everywhere to just place my purse in and my water bottle or drink whatever. Itโs so convenient and easy. My nine year old now unloads it from the hatchback and unfolds it himself for me. When Iโm out and pushing the Clax around, people smile at me and look at it, they say things like โSmart!โ and โThatโs Genius!โ and โWow, where did you get that?โ and โThatโs so convenient!โ I get those comments 99% of the time when I go out with it. Itโs a really good compact size but holds plenty. It even helps me to not spend too much at Target because it canโt hold as much at the regular shopping carts so instead of spending upwards of $300 while shopping, my average spending is $150, just on account of the fact that it fills up more quickly. But again, it holds the perfect amount and is capable of holding everything I have needed it to. I have yet to see someone else with one of these while Iโm outโ- Iโm surprised I have not. I have seriously not seen one other person with one. Although, one time, a cashier person at Trader Joeโs did say they had seen one before. But I would love to see someone else shooing with one while I have mine out. Donโt be afraid of the priceโฆ itโs SO worth every penny.

Easy to use
The quality of workmanship does not disappoint. The set up is easy as well as maneuverability. In addition it collapses for efficient storage.

Easy up, Easy down! Steers like a champ! Might be bulky for some to lift.
I am correcting this review from four stars up to five stars. I have used it several times now, and finally figured out that it has two handle settings! I didnโt feel like it leaned back far enough to keep me from kicking the wheels while I walked, so I was walking beside the cart most of the time instead of behind it. It was still a wonderful cart worth having, but slightly annoying in crowded situations. I finally figured out that when the cart is done unfolding, it is on its tall, upright setting. You push the button again and pull back on the handle a little, and it adjusts to its โshopping cartโ position that you see in all the pictures. No more kicking the wheels while walking behind it. Now I am a very, very, happy shopper.I bought this cart because I am new at Costco, and their carts are way too high for my short frame. I will also be using it for an elderly woman I take grocery shopping because we need to get her groceries from the the car and up her driveway hill in just one trip. Lastly, I will be toting music books to and from the car into nursing homes for our choir outings. Two other "utility" carts have failed to be able to handle the terrain. This one looks like it might do!So, I just got my new Clax Shopping cart. Easy assembly right out of the box. Just attach the wheels! Little picture card shows instructions on exactly how to do everything for everyday use. It took me longer to figure out the card than it did to assemble the thingโabout 5 or 6 minutes total!I saw some reviews about taking the wheels on and off for every use. I do not plan to ever do that. It sits perfectly upright in a small amount of space if you just leave the wheels on. I plan to leave mine in the trunk most of the time. Then it will be there for a quick stop any time something comes up. It also fits easily between the seats if the trunk is full, but the maneuvering is a little tricky the first couple of times. So, I took it out for a test run, and here is what I found so far.PROS: 1. Easy Assembly. Open and up in less than five minutes out of the delivery box!2. Easy open: Easy Close. Ten to fifteen seconds at the most! It only takes that long because lining up the basket with the base of the cart takes longer than all the rest! The mechanism seems to do all the work for you with very little effort. I do agree with another review that the button might be too hard for arthritis people, but I believe that it needs to be enough pressure that it cannot be done accidentally. I wouldn't have even noticed if it had not been mentioned. Also, the weight of the cart might also be too much for arthritis folks, too. It is only 21lbs, but the shape makes it a little awkward to lift up. It has a very sturdy metal frame. This makes me believe that it will last me for years to come.HINT/TIP: It is easier to work with the tie-downs if you pull by the round part underneath the support instead of pulling from the top. You really don't see these from the top. At first, you have to place your thumbs on the top of the tie-down and reach underneath with your fingers until you get to the rounded edge and pull out and up. I will be adding a video later, when my son can help me with the camera.3. Easy to steer! Wow! This thing turns on a dime and weaves in and out of "traffic" like the pro it is! It didn't "bounce" over the speed bumps in the parking lot--just glided right over. I admit that I haven't filled it up with its maximum weight capacity yet, but I have gotten it quite full. So far it is amazing to steer!4. Seems very sturdy! Love the larger wheels that look and feel like they will last a long time. The solid frame is heavy enough to be strong and durable.5. The braking mechanism is WONDERFUL! Wide, easy "step-on" brake holds cart very firmly while unloading, even on slightly graded parking lots. Then just lift up with your foot from underneath the brake to release. Love, love, love this brake!CONS: 1. It seems impossible to get a second basket for the bottom! I waited four months for the extra basket option to come in before ordering the cart without it. The company has pushed that date at least three times that I can see, and they still are not available! I have purchased a fairly large grey bin for the bottom, but it doesnโt fit neatly like the original does on topโvery frustrating! Of course, I realize that this might be more of a Covid supply chain issue than a company issue, but for customers it is hard to tell the difference. My bin sits nicely and does the job, but I am still waiting for a second basket that will collapse nicely like the top one does.SUGGESTIONS: 1. When you get the spare crates in, send a notice to everyone who bought this cart so that we can order them. It would also be nice if you would give us the lower cost that we would have gotten had they been available when we bought the cart.2. Add a little picture on your instruction card of how to get the cart into the two positions for the handle. Conclusion:All in all, I am very happy with the cart itself. For a little โminiโ cart, it can hold quite a bit. I can get a whole case of Costco toilet paper on the bottom shelf with no trouble! Set the brake first so that it wonโt roll while youโre sliding it on. Just try to get a regular wire cart to hold still like that!

One thing
I was really excited about this product, and it definitely did not disappoint! This product was engineered to be amazing! It folds up and out, nice and easy, and even the wheels attach/detach individually with a simple click and a button. The top crate is hooked up to the cart by built-in bungee cords and is incredibly sturdy. I bought the cart with one crate, but there is an option to buy it with two (a top & bottom crate) and you can buy the specific CLAX crate individually. Since the bungee hooks are made especially to hook up to the top shelf when the crate is collapsed, you can probably get away with using something/anything cheaper for the bottom (if you're looking to save money). As far as I can tell, the bungee hooks only attach onto the top crate when it is in its compact form. Should some unexpected tragedy befall the top carte there might be cheaper options available, on the condition that they are collapsable and able to fit the hooks. The top shelf has a weight capacity of 22-44 pounds (22 when going up a flight of stairs, and 44 on flat ground). While the bottom shelf can withstand weights between 44-88 pounds (44 going on stairs, and 88 on flat ground).Everything about this product was made to fold onto itself, and even the wheels are meant to be stored into the cart when they are detached and not in use. While it may not be practical to attach and remove the wheels for frequent stopping trips throughout the day, this function certainly makes storage more compact and organized. This also helps when storing in a vehicle, and keeps the cart and wheels in place while your on the move. However, this is also where this fine cart gets one less star: while the cart's design was intended to keep the wheels affixed to the cart for storage purposes, this same design was made as an impractical fit for the smaller wheels it was meant to securely store. In fact, on removal of the smaller wheels fixed to my cart, the wheels were shown to have a hard indent and further became lacerated from the tight contact of the plastic mold holding it in place.Since I didn't see any reviews with the same problem, it's possible that my cart is simply defective. The Clax store does offer replacements for the wheels, however since the problem appears to be the frame of the cart holding the wheels in place, the only option may be to replace the cart entirely. That aside I still think this is an amazing product, and if you're on the fence about buying a cart that offers practicality, simplicity, and engineering superiorityโ this is certainly the one!

Game changer!
This is one of the best purchases in my entire life. Using it every day, going for groceries or just taking staff to car and back, itโs so convenient. Using the baskets separately in car, at home or cart without baskets - anything works perfectly! Definitely worth every penny spent on it. Highly recommend to anyone, who live in apt, and car parked on the lower floor. Its a must!
