Beautiful sink - great functionality
We installed this sink as part of our complete kitchen remodel about 9 months ago. The single, deep basin and sleek look make a huge statement in a high-end kitchen. The quality is just as good, if not better than other sinks in this price range. We ultimately chose Ruvati over other brands like Kraus because the workmanship in the corners looked better. Ruvati also has several videos on Youtube that give you a better look at their products than pictures do. At first we were considering the RVH7400 (or similar) until we stumbled across this model, with the recessed edges for the cutting board and colander. Is it worth $200? I'm not sure. But once we saw it, we had to have it. We have used the cutting board extensively, but never once used the colander. The cutting board already shows signs of significant use, but still functions nicely. The slope of the sink bottom surface is minimal, causing food to accumulate around the edges as with any sink of this type. If you have a faucet with extending head and spray functionality, cleaning the sink is only a minor annoyance and quickly becomes part of the routine. The included bottom grid is key to avoiding scratches on your sink. We have always had the grid in and have no scratches. The sink is quiet with regard to setting and moving dishes around inside it. However, the sink may experience rapid expansion accompanied by a pop or bang when pouring a large pot of boiling water in to strain pasta. This happens with our sink at least 50 percent of the time. It does not appear that this affects the sink in a negative way or cause it to debond from the countertop when undermounted. Be aware, if you attach a garbage disposal to your sink, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to use the awesome Ruvati drain and strainer basket that comes with the sink as garbage disposals typically require a different drain connection. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this sink and happy with he purchase. Even though it was more expensive than others, we don't regret the purchase one bit.

Could not be more satisfied.
I recently renovated my kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. I did a lot of research for an undermount sink that would fit my new counter, looks good and be functional. I was looking for a single bowl as I have a lot of large dishes and pots and a double bowl sink was not a choice. I considered granite sinks and a lot of different brands of stainless steel, but finally decided to go with the Ruvati sink, as I read a lot of good reviews about it. Buying from Amazon was a plus, because if the sink was not anything like advertised, I knew I could return it. When I received the sink, I fell in love with it right away. You could tell the manufacturer cared about its product, as the sink was wrapped in very soft cloth and packaged with a lot of cardboard protection. There was not a scratch or a ding on the sink or the accessories that came with it. The accessories were also wrapped in very soft cloth. The sink itself is very strong and pleasing to the eyes. It is very deep and able to handle the weight of all my large, heavy pots and dishes. It has a slight downward curve toward the sink hole, which nicely drains the water away. The grid covers the whole sink, and is made very nicely with rubber legs that have stayed intact, and unlike the previous sink that I had, have not fallen in the garbage disposal. The vegetable drain dish and a cutting board that actually sit above the sink, securely on a track is great. No more cutting vegetables on the counter and moving it to the sink and washing and straining. It is all done now right above the sink. All in all, if you need a deep, strong and functional sink, you cannot go wrong with buying a Ruvati.

Wonderful Large Sink
Sink: We're in love with our new sink. Before, we had a shallow dual-basin sink that splattered water everywhere and felt like we never had enough space. With this 32", single basin sink, even though we didn't expand our sink range at all, it feels as though our working area has doubled. I love that I can wash & dry dishes all in one area (less of a need now for a drying rack on the counter or in the sink itself), and with it being so deep, most of the water is contained. Others have commented on scratches; I have yet to experience any but after reading reviews on multiple other sinks & brands, scratching seems unavoidable at some point. Extras: The drying rack that comes with it is great. You don't have to use the full area; I often fold it over itself to have more wash room. I've been using the bottom rinse grid as I heard that these types of sinks scratch easily. It does make it minorly more difficult to get all food particles down the drain, but not enough to complain. It's also great because I can set things down to continue to wash and the water doesn't run all over everything, just right underneath. We have a garbage disposal so I don't think we're using the provided provided drain; I have not yet used the cutting board or the basket strainer drain. Overall: Very, very happy. I got a great sink plus a bunch of add ons for a really good price. Dishes are far less of a hassle now. The attached pictures show the sink both empty and with dishes drying (mostly hidden crockpot & large pan, large tupperware, small bowls, utensils).

The sink is high quality
I do love the quality of the sink stainless steel. The "bells and whistles" aka added features are nice too, but there are some things to get used to with this type of sink. First of all the good: nice and deep, the cutting board is awesome. It comes with a drain hole cover that can sit over the opening on its legs and allow the water to drain without needing to worry about dropping anything down the opening. I needed a disposal, so I couldn't use the adorable little sink strainer it came with. The grate for the bottom of the sink is also very nice. The colander, which I was really excited to get with the sink, is a nice feature, but it is actually too bulky. There is not enough room to keep the colander and the cutting board on the ledge provided and still use the sink to wash pots and pans or basically anything. So, I have to move those items to the counter or temporarily store on the cooktop, which I was not expecting. And, it is hopeless to think you could use the drain rack and keep the colander and/or cutting board out too. Thus, you need to have storage options for these accessories. Each is great, but they are taking up more storage room that I had planned on. Now to what I don't like about the sink: first of all, it is a pain to keep clean. I knew it was flat, but I expected some slope to help to drain the water and debris. Nope. Everything, just everything rinsed off of a plate, pot or bowl gets pushed out to the corners of the sink and remains there. I swear my water bill will increase dramatically, because I run it so often trying to wash the debris from, for example, a salad, down the drain. So, in order to clean it, you have to remove all accessories, including the bottom rack, and then you have to scrub because if you don't do this after each use, whether rinsing something easy like a bowl of oatmeal, then a film of whatever you rinsed is left spread out on the bottom of the sink below the elevated grate. And, when I realized that I needed to scrub the sink basically each day, I saw little rust spots along the edge of the base. Small, like the size of a not so sharp pencil. But in order to scrub out the rust spots, I need to use the scouring sponge, the one that you are not supposed to use because it scratches the stainless steel. I also noticed that even though I have not scrubbed the side of the sink (the vertical parts) with the scouring pad, there are scratches showing. I know stainless steel scratches, but this is 16 guage and I expected it to not scratch when a scrubbing brush is used. One with plastic bristles. The other thing is dang, cleaning those corners is tough. It's hard to get the small spots of rust out of those corners. I'm hoping that it doesn't fail or have more rust, because it is an undermount with thick granite, and it is not able to be changed. To sum it up, I really do like the "look" of the sink. It is a big basin with some very sexy features; but in practicality, those features could become a pain because of storage and just cumbersome to have to remove the base grate to clean the sink each day. I even tried pouring boiling water over the grate to see if that would wash away the food debris film, and it didn't. And, I'm a vegetarian, so this isn't even meat waste or fat or grease. But given that I absolutely hated my prior tiny two bowl ceramic sink, I am better off with this one. I'm just hoping that the rust spots are not anything that relates to poor quality stainless steel.

Fantastic sink
In reading other peopleโs reviews, I finally made our decision to buy the Ruvati single bowl sink. We love it. There is so much room I can easily wash any pan in the house. I had read reviews about problems with drainage and spots. These were the main 2 issues that was in almost all reviews for any brand. I guess its a matter of opinion. We feel that there is enough slope in the sink that water drains fine. Yes you do need a faucet with a sprayer, to wash big food particles on down to the drain, but that no big deal. I clean my sink anyway. I love the drain basket thing that catches and collect all the food. It works great and it sets deeper in the drain so when water hits it , all the food doesnโt wash out into the sink. If your worried about water spots, well wipe it down. Thats gets old , because we use ours to much. Heres a trick, spray car detail wax onto the beautiful brush stainless steel and it will help with cleanliness. The is a beautiful, fantastic sink that has plenty of room and we absolutely love it and Im so glad we didnโt buy another brand. It just looks n feels fancy. We got the work station and I donโt have the words to express our enthusiasm with our sink. Proud to show it off. PS. if you herd rumors about it rusting, well thatโs crazy and just rumors. This things has way to much quality for any rusting. A must buy.

Great quality and function
I love this sink! Before remodeling our kitchen I permanently parked a colander in one side of our old double sink for draining pasta, rinsing fruits/vegies, etc. I decided to search for a sink that had this as a feature and came upon this Ruvati. I was unfamiliar with the sink and so read the reviews. I purchased and installed it in November 2015 and couldn't be happier. Addressing some of the concerns of earlier reviews, the square corners present NO problem with cleaning. Every part of this sink is high quality, including the inset colander. The sink is quite deep and not only fits those big pots/pans/cookie sheets, it hides the dirty dishes waiting to go into the dishwasher from view. The colander also serves as a great drain for those dishes I occasionally hand wash. Also, we installed it in our stock 31" base cabinet with no problem. The only negatives in my view are that the cutting board, although extremely sturdy and lovely, is wood and I no longer use a wooden cutting board. Also, to thoroughly get a lot of food scraps down the disposal you do have to lift the grate (we've learned to scrape directly over the disposal to avoid spreading the food all over the sink.) Finally, the profile of the sink in the counter is beautiful and I enjoy the added space gained by choosing a single sink design over the standard double.

Great functional and attractive sink-love it!
I spent a significant amount of time researching the perfect sink for my new kitchen renovation. My wish list included: stainless, deep, wide and reasonably priced. I should also say that I enjoy washing dishes and I am only 5" tall since I read every review, praise and criticism before making my purchase. I have had the sink in place for just over 2 months now and I do not regret my choice at all. Pros: 1-deep, spacious enough for double boilers and baking sheets. 2-has lip/edge on 2 of the four sides so you can rest a one of 3 accessories-cutting board, roll up flat drying rack and bottom grate. 3-comes with 3 accessories included, including the bottom grate to protect it from getting banged up. 4-Arrived extremely well packed and had a fabric protector bag. 5-price is very reasonable compared to big box stores and kitchen renovation showroom stores. 6- arrived within promised time, which was faster than anything else I ordered for my new kitchen. Cons: 1- it needs to be washed and wiped after every use if you want it to look like a sparkly show piece- I don't really think this is even an issue, it's a sink not a car but for someone it may be a big deal based on other reviews 2-you need to remove the bottom grate and clean the bottom of the sink regularly so the grate "feet" don't leave stains. Again, this is not really an issue for me- it's a sink for washing and I expect it to need to be washed as well. We receive lots of complments on the sink and the one feature everyone seems to notice is the lip/edge to rest the accessories-it is clever and well thought out. We highly recommend this sink.

.
Almost identical to one in a local Bath/Kitche store. The one ordered is wayyy less money, and equal in quality, and 'better' accompaniments. Lucky my husband found it on Amazon. Amazing. Delighted.
