Great productโฃ๏ธ
This great product. I have 2017 Salem cruise light. We bought the trailer used. We noticed that the gage wasn't reading right on our black, at least that was our thoughts.this trailer does not have a flush valve or spickit, so trying to get our black water emptied, we would have to fill up a 5gl bucket of water and pour down the toilet to flush it out completely. We thought it was cleaned when the wat would come out clear, and the gage would still read full! I couldn't figure it out. Paid over $200 for someone to come out and flush it.then I seen a TikTok video of this. Well, I thought it would be expensive. I looked for it on Amazon and it wasn't as expensive as I thought. The flush king saved us from having to pay another $200 to have someone come and flush it again. The flush king is simple for both me and my disabled daughter can use. Just connecte it as it is shown, hook a garden hose up and open the valve. That simple. To clean the part was even more simple. Close all your holding tanks, turn water on (with the flush king valve closed) wait a couple of seconds, open the flush valve on the flush king and and keep the water running until rinsed thoroughly. This not only cleans the neck of your holding tanks and the flush king, but your septic hose (stinky slinky) too. If you are a full time RVer, this is a must have. There is also an adjustable sprayer valve for cleaning the tank. I would give this product a 10 out of 10. Much cheaper than having the septic guy do it.โฃ๏ธ

Works great to help flush black tanks
Overall this is an indispensable item on my RV accessory list. I try to keep my black tank as clean as possible so I don't have any build up. For backflushing the Flush King is perfect because you can see the contents emptying from the tank. The hose attachment has a valve that does a reasonably good job turning the water on and off. I had to knock one star off because of a couple nitpicks. The valve that connects to the water hose probably should have some teflon tape installed to avoid leaks. Fortunately you can install teflon tape on your own. Also, if the water hose valve is open and water is running you must have either your black tank valve open or the flush valve open. Both cannot be closed otherwise pressure will build up and you will get leaks. Aside from these minor issues, this is a totally legitimate product that makes a big difference keeping the black tank cleaner. Certainly more clean than just using an onboard black tank rinse system. I'm giving this product my recommendation and two thumbs up.

Did the job!
Bought this almost a year ago when our camper tank clogged up. Followed instructions and it worked as advertised, now our tank is back to functioning. Iโve since used it again for one of our other tanks that clogged up and it was able to free it up as well. The fitting that the water hose screws into seems kinda weak and I could see it breaking with extended use but havenโt had an issue yet. Our water pressure is very high and it handled it well.

Clears Drains Quicker, Faster & Cheaper!!!
Amongst full time RVers, most will agree that their top two concerns (other than financial) are related to plumbing and or electrical (ac & dc) systems. Of the two, plumbing issues are the most worrisome and often the most difficult to diagnose / correct. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to clear the severely clogged drain pipes for my black and gray water holding tanks, I hired a "professional RV plumber" to unclog the drains. The RV plumber spent nearly three hours (at a rate of $185/hour + $120 for the service call) attempting to unclog my drains with only limited success. When being presenting me with the $700 bill, the plumbing tech told me that he was able to clear and drain my black tank but not my gray water drain or tank. Are you f-ing kidding me? $700 and only half the problem was fixed. uggggghhhhhh! After a day or so of calming myself down, I continued my research to find a solution and eventually found a utube video advertising this product. Although initially skeptical, I ordered the Flow King product in hopes that it would be more useful than the plumber I hired. I received my package the next day, hooked it up as instructed and....... OH MY @#&$$& GOD!!! This thing was able to fully unclog both of my clogged drains and empty the entire contents of both of my holding tanks in under an hour!!! I have never been so impressed by a product's performance as I was with Flow King and gladly give it the highest possible rating because it really is the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon. I seldom write reviews or provide recommendations but Flow King is nothing short or remarkable and deserving of such accolades.

Valterra Flush King for the Win!
Received this item on 5/21/2025. After reading previous reviews about leaks, I tightened the nuts on the valve gate and used teflon tape on the hose inlet to the 45 degree elbow. I also attached a water meter to tell me how many gallons of water were being pumped into the tanks each time. I used it the next day on my 5th wheel RV tanks (3 tanks) that are approximately 50 gallons each. I pumped in 40 gallons of water at our storage sewer dump station and this device cleaned the tanks out in two fills each. It was amazing to see what it does to clean the tanks out. The first fill flushes out most of the residual stuff in the tank and the second fill was clear water. I will use this device from now on instead of the factory clean out as this device does the job I needed it to. This device came with an anti-siphon back flow preventer to put on your hose water source to keep any back flow contamination of the water. Best part of this device is after tightening up the bolts on the valve gate and using teflon tape on the threads of the water inlet on the 45 degree elbow, there were no leaks! I highly recommend this Valterra Flush King device. But I do recommend getting a water hose meter to tell you how many gallons of water youโre pumping into the tanks too so you donโt over fill your tanks with water.

Works great and ensures a clean tank.
This is the second type of back-flush attachment I have tried the first orange one with a 360 swivel blow apart on me while flushing, not the best experience. I figured this was due to the weakness of the swivel design, so this one being fixed does not have that potential flaw. I have to say on receipt I was impressed just how well made a sturdy this was, look stronger than the previous one. Having now given this a good test, I have to say, get one. The amount of additional waste I flushed was shocking, but I also noticed that I did not get any unpleasant smells while camping. So a really clean tank is a happy tank. I only have a small trailer, so smaller tanks, but back filling did not really take much time at all, flow from the hose attachment was significant and strong, enough to flush more out without back-filling. If you want a clean tank get one, then you'll wonder why you never purchased one sooner. Now for the observations; I found it a little annoying that the hose connection brings the hose right over the main dump valve on the device. While it does not stop you using it you do need to turn the valve handle 90 degrees to open it as the hose is in the way. Just wondering why they did not offset the hose connection and valve by 90 degrees, it does look like something you could do yourself, but its does not affect functionality. The other observation is one of time, to do the backflush it does take time and if its a single dump station you can end up with people waiting. I performed 2 full back flushes last time out which takes around 20-30 minutes with the initial dump, so allow for that. That said we waited for the trailer in front of us to dump and use their internal flush system, which was not much quicker anyway. Would recommend, but please get a separate hose for this only as we have seen people using their fresh water hose, which is not to be recommended, we have the bright orange hose so there's no mistakes. Happy camping

Amazing!
This thing works amazing like other reviews say. Iv tried the wands and all the tank blaster chemicals, nothing compairs to how well this works. It gets more crud out than ever imagined that was still in there. I did a regular dump after camping and then used this to do a back flush. I was amazed on how much was still left in the tank and come out after the back wash. The pressure and vortex this makes once you open the gate to let all the water out is very impressive and satisfying to watch. I did the back wash 4 times to get 10 years of crap out of my tank. I like how it swivels as well. The first time you go to swivel it, it will be rather hard but it gets easier as it gets worked in.

Great product
Hi there, probably the best accessory I have bought for my RV as I don't have a black tank flush I use this to refill the black tank and flush it 2 to 3 times and it works perfectly I also use it to flush the gray tank and it's amazing how it works to remove residue from there as well I would highly recommend this product.

A must have
This product serves two purposes, provided you leave it connected while camping. First, the gate valve traps that waste water that loves to slowly trickle down the pipes, once you have emptied your tanks. So now when you connect your sewer hose for your next tank empty chore, you don't get that wonderful little burp of waste water all over your hands when you open the factory cap, as it will be trapped behind the gate valve. Second, when comes time you want to make sure your black water tank is as empty as it can be, you can now hook up your water connection and force clean water back into your tank to flush out "bonus material" that has been left behind. If you do this flush and drain several times, you should get most of the bonus material removed. Just be careful, to never force more clean water into your black tank, than the black tank can hold. No explanation needed for this precaution.
