E Series Desktop USB UHF RFID Reader Writer

I downloaded the setup utility from the website supplied with the hardware. We had it up and running with minutes. It scans exactly what we need it for. Our use case was manually scanning a single RFID label and managing the inventory on that label. We turned down the power to the minimum and it works well as a close proximity reader. I'm not sure how it would work for a mass scan solution.

The software isn't terribly intuitive but if you watch the YouTube videos, you can kind of figure it out. Reader and writer functions work fine.

Only goes up to 17dBm. Don't buy unless you want to use it with RFID cards directly touching it. I give it 2 stars because it does read, it's just not useful. The software works but is heavyweight - you download it from their website. Overall feels of poor quality, which is what you'd expect from a cheap reader.
