Bared to You Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness.... He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily.... Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds...and desires. The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart.... Reflected in You Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction...my every desire...mine. My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We'd never work. It was too hard, too painful...except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.... Entwined with You From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn't resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside―so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I'd been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become. Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession.... Review: Romance, mystery, passion, drama... SO GOOD. - I purchased this trilogy on a recommendation from a reputable blogger who wrote a piece along the lines of "If you love x, you'll love y." Fans of Jaqueline Carey's Kushiel Trilogy (such as myself) will most definitely enjoy the Crossfire trilogy. The characters are well-developed, multi-dimensional, and believable. Although I occasionally found myself getting annoyed by the main character, it was more due to her passiveness than the writing, which just proves to me that I was totally engrossed in the story. The relationship between Eva and Gideon is hot, and very much up-and-down, but also emotionally-laden. It's not a story of a fling, but a truly budding (and eventually realized) relationship that has the reader rooting for the couple the whole time. The erotic scenes were written very nicely - just the right mix of raunch and class (IMHO). I devoured these books and was completely dejected when I realized I'd just finished the last page in the third book. The editing was flawless, the overall story was engrossing, and all of the little sub-plots winding through the series were varied and interesting. I was never bored reading these books and loved all of the different tensions between the many characters. I hope the author picks up this story again, as I'd definitely buy and read the next book in this series. Review: Enjoyed all 3 very much - I decided to read these 3 after reading the 50 shades trilogy which I enjoyed & figured even if they were similar that's fine considering in one way or another love stories are always similar. By the time I got to the 2nd book I was hooked. I really can not see how the book is entirely like 50 shades. These characters are very different and considering in many ways they are equally messed up (Eva & Gideon) in the head from various issues from their childhood it creates a lot of depth that you don't always see in 50 shades. The sex is mutual & written in a way that you know they both want it as much as the other without hesitation they seem to need each other & lust after one another. One thing you do see is the constant ups & downs which seem to be extreme to the point of frustration. Eva's character can be exhausting and Gideon seems to hide so much that you find yourself waiting through chapters to find the answers to your questions making it a book you can't put down. The last book ending the way it did makes you want more & the fact that I bought it thinking it was a trilogy and yet it isn't is my only complaint because now I have to wait for their story to continue. I very much look forward to the next book and am now a fan of Sylvia Day. Edited to add: I am now reading this series for the 3rd time in hopes that the 4rth book comes out soon. This series never get's old and I have never reread any other book like this. These characters are so well written & after reading so many books after 50 Shades with powerful men, hands down Gideon is the best there is.

New and Hot for Sylvia Day
I read 3 chapters of 50 Shades and thought it was written by an 18 yr old! DISLIKED IT! All my girlfriends were IN LOVE! NOPE NOT ME! Until a co-work shared the same feeling about 50 Shades. She introduced me to Bared to You. I said, Not now... Well for my birthday September 2014 I wanted a new book series to read. My girlfriend reminded me of Sylvia Day! So I purchase this Book set of 3! On the first night I was on Chapter 8 and I couldn’t keep it down! I was giddy, hot, and all the feelings that Eva was feeling! I had complete visual of the story placement in my head because Sylvia did such a great job on describing everything so well! I recommend this book 1,000 times over any book! It also reminded me I have my own Mr. Cross. He is tall, dark and amazingly beautiful as well. I am very luck to share the reads with him! Thank you Sylvia…

I loved her spin on thinga
alright, the crossefire series had me flipping through wondering what was next. she's very descriptive and that was really good. I don't get why she had to put in there that Gideon was a dominant other than that she wanted him to be like Christian Grey on another level. that didn't work for me. either he's a dominant or he's not because she didn't seem to stay with it throughout the series. my BIGGEST issue was how it all ended. there were so many things left undone that I was very disappointed. I saw what she was trying to do with an ending like that but those don't sit over well unless there's another book coming. but other than that, the series was a page turner.

Romance/Mainstream erotica
Written with a lot of passion and depth. I picked this series up not long after I read the "Fifty Shades of Grey" Series -which I did enjoy very much but I enjoyed the "Crossfire Series" even more. I enjoyed the storyline and the process in which Ms. Day pulls her readers into the storyline. I like to feel the emotion that flows through the story and I was captivated from the start! It is passionate, erotic, language slightly colorful -if you don't love full blown romance, this book is not for you. It is mainstream erotica -you will find this on the shelf at Kroger, Target, Walmart, etc. in the Romance section.

The Crossfire Series
Excellent series. I read this after reading FSOG. Yes there were some similarities but I still found the books very interesting. I loved Eva and Gideon's story. The characters are well developed. Eva and Gideon's relationship happened within a short scope of time. I enjoyed the other stories occurring with the other characters. The only problem I have is the length of time that it is taking for the next book to be released. I probably have to 're-read the series once the next book is released.

Ugggghhhhhhhh
Sooooo....I don't even really know where to go with this review. I bought this as a box series, expecting it to contain all parts of the story lol, and come to find out, nope! There's going to be not one, but TWO more books to this series! I'm sorry but for $10 a book, I'd like a little less sex (I skip right through the sex scenes anyway, I read for the romance, not the sex) and more freaking closure! About 50% of the way through this series, I got so fed up and bored with it that I didn't read it for a couple weeks. Then I remembered I paid a lot of money for this stupid series so I was going to finish it. Imagine my disappointment when I didn't get any closure. The first two books were pretty good, the third was fluff and I won't be reading the last two. I bought this because I heard it as being better than fifty shades, and I can assure you it was not.

Well worth a read
Very enjoyable, I'm chomping on the bit for the next 2 books. There's a lot left unresolved after the first 3, who swapped the bracelet & got the mob involved? I don't think we've seen the last of Corinne especially when it comes to the wedding. Also, I don't think we've dealt with Cross's past completely. Again, as I've said in other reviews, it's a formula with a story built around it. I personally don't care this is the formula, it's why I read such stories but this book does that well within an interesting storyline. Yes it's based on a formula, but, isn't that sort of plot the reason you're reading this book? I'll admit it, I enjoy reading a book where girl meets boy, either both or one of them has significant flaws but they work through them, he's rich & treats women with respect, a real gentleman, it's a very passionate & lustful relationship with details of the sex not withheld, there's always a true friend just trying to look out for her/his friend & an antagonist of an ex, some major problems get in the way which usually means arguments & a sad mid relationship break ups, one or both parties has a hallelujah moment, BUT, ultimately, love wins, there's a happy ending. Yes this book is that format but that's why I enjoyed it, that's my modern day Fairytale knight saves girl, I'll admit it.

I had to read the trilogy again as a refresher and its like reading the story for the first time
Totally captivating story. I read the 3 books a year ago, and was enthralled. Before reading the 4th book, I had to read the trilogy again as a refresher and its like reading the story for the first time. I'm excited to read the next book. Sylvia Day is an exceptional writer, so descriptive in her choice of words it makes the reader think they are watching a real life event or a movie. Every next chapter has a different event, not the same ol same ol happening over. I just love it. Can't wait to read the 4th book, and hoping it will be just as exciting.
