I have long hair and have been using a curling iron to curl my hair every day. This, of course dries out the ends of my hair, and the curl doesn't last long at all. I decided to try these soft curlers so I could sleep in them, and bought the .98 inch diameter curlers. I prefer a loose curl, and the size of this curlers produced a tight curl on my hair. For this reason, I returned these and ordered the 1.4 inch diameter curlers which I have not yet received. In my opinion, these are very nice curlers. They are easy to use, and the clip holds very well during the night. They are also very soft to sleep on, so I didn't have a problem sleeping on them. They were well packaged, and not at all flattened or deformed. They get a little scrunched when you use them depending on how tight you wind the hair around them, but they regain their original shape by the next night when you want to use them again. If you have long hair and want a tighter curl, the .98 inch diameter rollers may work for you. They would definitely work well for short hair. I am looking forward to trying the larger rollers, and will submit a review for them once I have tried them. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I immediately read the perfectly addressed instructions which directed me to soak my pink lovelies in water multiple times so that their vacuumed state can be undone, which they say is done by pandemic procedure so that one does not get ill from contaminated air. Once the beautiful, pink, massive, soft, but strong rollers had dried I took to the shower and washed my hair profusely following my routine. I of course allowed my hair to go from a state of sloppy drippiness to a fine damp state before engorging my hair in the rollers. I allowed my hair to dry, having wrapped it in a soft silk scarf which makes even nuns blush. As soon as I unraveled my long strands of hair, it was as if I had just walked out of Studio 54 at it's height. I took my brush and lightly drove it through my hair, only further glamourizing my style. The size of the rollers allowed for my hair to gain a beautiful amount of body and volume. Upon leaving my quaint abode I took to the streets to see how the public would view me. Men loved it. Women envied it. Children gawked at it. Animals screamed at it. I could have caused many vehicle accidents while crossing the street as my hair was just so so impressive. I have even gathered a handful of potential suitors which I plan to marry, as they are all willing to share me. Enough about me, these curlers are just wonderful.

Very Jumbo and stiff. These are for really long hair

I have mid-length medium density but fine hair, down to the bottom of my rib cage when straight down my back. The sponge rollers work properly, they are just too big. Rollers stay in place relatively well, even when sleeping. The sponge is firmer than the smaller diameter rollers I grew up with. Ensuring hair is slightly damp when putting them in and wrapping with a XL cap or silk scarf is essential for a smooth, non-frizzy style. They are incredibly uncomfortable to try to sleep in and I sleep in rollers, heatless curl wraps, etc. regularly. Each time I tried them I had restless sleep with frequent waking and woke up in the morning with a kink in my neck. The larger diameter created lift (which is why I wanted to try them) but it created odd kinks at the root. I looked like I had flat bed-head roots and smooth bouncy volume lengths and ends. These may work better for throwing in when styling in the morning and leaving in while hair finishes drying for approximately 4 hours for the curl to hold longer. Unlike the packaging insert and other reviews said, mine did not arrive shrink wrapped but did not show signs of prior use.

I have been trying to roller set my hair for years. I could never get it right with the hard rollers. I tried these sponge rollers & got it on the first try. I am very happy to be able to do my own hair now.

I found these jumbo rolls too big to work with. I don’t recommend purchasing because you will not receive a refund right away. It’s been eight days passing since I’ve returned them, still waiting. I think it will be a full 30days until I receive my refund.

Von wegen 5,1 cm Durchmesser! Die Rollen, die ich bekommen habe, haben höchstens 1,2 cm Durchmesser – das ist ein himmelweiter Unterschied. Die Produktfotos sind völlig unrealistisch. Der abgebildete Kopf könnte höchstens von einer Barbie-Puppe oder einer KI-generierten Figur stammen, aber sicher nicht von einem echten Menschen. Ich habe sie extra wegen der angeblich großen Größe bestellt – und wurde komplett enttäuscht. Für lange oder dicke Haare sind diese Mini-Dinger völlig ungeeignet. Spart euch das Geld und investiert lieber in ein vernünftiges Produkt. Nicht empfehlenswert!

These are not jumbo foam rollers. Very misleading. They are very very small. Totally disappointed
