Small loaf yielded 9 good slices including end pieces
Ok… I researched bread makers and read reviews for a few days. I kept going back to this one due to reviews and the beautiful appearance and modern look of the machine. Yesterday I ordered it and was determined to try it out. We searched recipes that included ingredients we had on hand. We landed on French bread recipe in the book that came with the machine though we did not have bread flour. Determined to try it I opted to use standard store bought flour. I added all ingredients in the order it said and watched the machine knead the dough. It was fascinating how it switches course to mix the dough well and pick up the parts stuck to the side of the baking box. It was around 8:30 when I started so I fell asleep on the process which was going to be around 3 hours. I woke up to a fresh smelling hot loaf of bread 🥖 in the middle of the night. A perfect little 🍞 loaf!!! I am thrilled with this machine and also ordered the cookbook that one reviewer recommended. I did wrap it in foil while warm which you Should NOT do. This morning when I woke to slice and freeze it , it had sweat a bit and had some moisture on top. So be sure to let it cool thoroughly before storing. I highly recommend this machine. It is not loud to me at all. And it’s a beautiful machine which is definitely a plus!!

The best purchase ever.
I'm not a huge diet or watch what I eat type of person but the quality and prices of a loaf of bread today are alarming. They are super processed, loaded with artificial harmful ingredients and just don't taste good. So without any baking knowledge I took a risk with attempting to make my own. BEST DECISION EVER. I cannot recommend this machine enough if you even have a slight interest in making bread. When I say easy, it's still an understatement on how simple it is to make a fresh homemade loaf of bread with ingredients you can name and trust. Follow the directions and load the ingredients in the exact order and a few hours later you got some fresh tasty bread! I bought this maybe 6 weeks ago and I already went through over 12 pounds of bread flour and easily 12-15 loafs and each one better than the last. The machine is so easy clean, the bread slides right out and the bread comes out with a great denser texture not spongy like store bought. You have tons of preset options that are listed right on the lid and easy to set. I actually look forward to trying new breads or tweak the recipes to see which tastes better. It's a little loud but you'll get used to it, don't hesitate BUY THIS NOW.

I was skeptical, too!
But I just LOVE this thing! In my quest to get away from processed food as much as possible, I added bread to the list. The problem was I wanted fresh, homemade bread without all the work. This thing is every bit as easy as it says. I dump in the ingredients, push a couple of buttons, walk away and it does the rest. The manual isn't the best but it's easy enough to figure out. The included recipes aren't great but the internet has plenty to choose from. It's described as making a 1.5 lb loaf or a 2 lb loaf but, in most cases, I'd stick to the 1.5. You're going to run into issues with a 2 lb. By "issues" I mean it's going to actually Mount Vesuvius your machine enough to open the lid when it overflows. I love the styling and the color is beautiful. There are a ton of settings to choose from and seems to be very customizable. The best part is I know exactly what's in every loaf I make. C'mon, the price is reasonable enough to try it out, right? 😁 Edited to add: Does it make noise? Of course it does. Is it excessive? Not at all. It's certainly quieter and less annoying than my grumbling about having to make another loaf of bread by hand would be. I love the compact size. Space is at a premium in this kitchen so I was kind of worried about that. Turned out to be no problem at all! Update: 7 months later and still loving it. It's been so much fun trying new recipes and experimenting. I use it at least once a week and it's still working great. Absolutely no issues at all. 😊 Update: 1 year - I honestly still love it. I use the dough setting the most now and it's worth it just for that. Dump in the ingredients, do other things for a couple of hours and the dough is ready to shape and go in the oven or whatever we're doing with it. Homemade buns, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, pizza dough, the possibilities are endless with only 15 minutes or so of actual hands on time and consistent results every time. There seems to be some bread machine hate on the internet by "purists" but I think if something like this fits into people's busy schedules and allows them to make healthy, chemical-free breads (there's so many chemicals they have to add flavor to make it taste like bread 😟) for themselves and their families, that's a wonderful thing. It's the best, most impactful Amazon purchase I've ever made.

Simple bread made easy
You have to understand I’m a male 58 years old always loved fresh bread and never made it for myself. Did the research didn’t go low didn’t go high went middle of the road. Just wanted a loaf of bread easy Peezy. This unit hands-down and I’ve made two Lowes is great. I would give it five stars. It’s a little noisy, not crazy loud but other than that it works flawless. By the way, it doesn’t move around like some people think. If you’re looking to just make a nice loaf of bread between my wife and I, this is hands-down one of the best bread makers I’ve owned and it’s my first I’ll let you know in a couple of months to see how it’s lasted. Instructions are easy. I just made my second quick bread recipe and it’s delicious. Looking forward to using other recipes.

Bakes Quickly
I have had two Cuisinart machines in the past. I have found this one makes a better loaf of bread. It has two heating elements so the bread is less dense than with the other machines. It is also takes less time for a loaf to bake. The bread pan has a smooth finish so the loaf slides out easily. It’s compact so it fits where my other machine was. I would recommend it.

Great addition to my kitchen
After using the Neretva bread machine for a little over a month, I can say I love it and I recommend it. My only caution is that immediately after the baking finishes, if you want to turn off the warmer, you have to hold down the button rather than just pushing it. That button is rather warm, so I use a hot pad or a wash cloth. It doesn't burn your finger without using something, but it's not comfortable for me. Other than that minor thing, I love this little machine. It says it will bake 1.5 or 2 pound loaves, but I have successfully made 1 pound loaves in it. I set it for the 1.5 (750 gram) loaf size, and my 1 pound loaves come out great. I really like having the dual heating elements. I think that helps bake the bread evenly in the tall container. I got the silver stainless steel, and it looks great in my small kitchen sitting on the countertop. It's not huge, so it is a machine I can leave out, and it's not in my way. Many people think they won't have time to bake bread even in a machine, but this could not be further from the truth. It's much easier than you think. You just measure out your ingredients, put them in the loaf pan in the order recommended, set your settings, turn on the machine, and walk away. Three hours later you have a nice loaf of bread that slides out of the pan very easily. A great companion to this machine - or any machine - is the The No-Fuss Bread Machine Cookbook: Hands-Off Recipes for Perfect Homemade Bread by Michelle Anderson. Her book gives ingredient measurements for 1 pound, 1.5 pound, and 2 pound loaves. It really is a "No-Fuss" cookbook. It's well worth the price to get this book, as the Neretva manual is not very detailed. The one pound recipes in the No-Fuss cookbook are the ones I use in my Neretva. I highly recommend this machine! If something ever happens to it, I will buy another one to replace it immediately. I'll never be without a bread machine again!

New favorite kitchen toy, and affordable!
New favorite gadget! If you’re on a budget and don’t want to spend $500-600 on the Z…machine, this is for you. If you’re getting into bread making, this is for you. I’m no pro by any means, but I bake a LOT. If you know how tedious making bread is, you share my pain. This took the pain and anguish out of the equation. Easy to use, thorough instructions, fits on the counter perfectly. The recipes in the manual are fine - they’re basic. You can make them and learn from them what to add or adjust. You can make a wide variety of things in this bad boy. I made French bread (photo), adjusted to my personal recipe, and adjusted because I live at high altitude. I have high frequency hearing loss, so I did not hear the beeps, but other people can just fine. The bread rose perfectly. I use Fleschmann’s instant rapid rise yeast. I put the setting to medium crust and it came out a perfect light gold. Evenly baked without issue! The noise from mixing is comparable to having the microwave on, only a little loud if there’s no other sounds, but a TV at normal volume will drown it out. Super easy to clean! Just make sure to hand wash it! Absolutely recommend this to anyone getting into bread making or just want to take the hassle out of doing it by hand!

A must have.
This thing works great ! We have not had any issues at all. Some reviews talked about it not mixing it well. We found towards the middle of the mix cycle take the handle of a spoon and scrape the sides. Every loaf has came out perfectly.

The most useful kitchen equipment I have
This bread machine is really useful, convenient & efficient. First, I love the vintage yellow color which is super lovely. Second, it is compact and looks very neat - fit into the kitchen counter or kitchen rack. Last but most importantly, I have to say Woaaa it bakes very yummy bread which smell so good and also the bread’s texture is much better than the bought store loafs. Also it is very easy to use, and adjust the ingredients. All I need is just pouring the ingredients into the basket and then the machine does everything, very convenient and time saving. It goes beyond my expectations, I should bought this one earlier 🥰

Exceeded expectations
Works very well, and bread comes out very tasty. I used slightly less sugar than the recipe called for (15g instead of 35g), and it still turned out well. The bread size is big enough for 2-3 people; 2 if bread is all you’re having, maybe 3 if everyone has 2-3 slices each. Compact size, just a tad bigger than a Keurig/Smeg coffee machine. Got the stainless steel color because it’s a timeless classic, but I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of the green colors. Makes great sugarless and French bread too, as well as yogurt. Kneading function also works nicely. So far the sugarless function is our favorite, the bread is soft and fluffy. We didn’t add in any sugar like the recipe dictated, but I’d imagine the bread would turn out even better and tastier if we added sugar like the recipe asked for.

Stekker onbruikbaar in Europa.
Dat de broodmachine een stekker heeft die in Europa niet bruikbaar is. Ook niet even zomaar op te lossen met een speciale stekker kopen of transfo. Een grote teleurstelling en onbegrip dus. Broodbakmachine teruggestuurd. Gelukkig was dat geen probleem waarvoor dank.

Dont waste your time and money
This machine is terrible! It jumps off the counter . It makes terrible bread and I've tried different recipes. It is now not working properly at all . I wanted to send back but apparently I'm too late . I only had a months grace. I didn't realize that when I purchased. It was very expressive so I thought the machine would be good and the customer care would be better. Please don't buy !

Have patience
I actually hated this machine at the start. I tried a few of the recipes from the handbook it came with and they were awful. Then I read in a reddit thread to buy the book "the ultimate bread machine cookbook" and i am SO glad i did. The machine didnt suck - the recipes it came with did. I now LOVE this machine and I use it daily. Its quiet. It doesnt move off the counter lol that was a user error i'm sure. Its pretty looking too - as a bonus. You can easily get recipes off the internet and use them here. Just make sure youre aware of the amounts of bread. As a general rule - use the 750g setting if the recipe calls for 3.5 cups bread or less. I dont know how anyone could use the 900g recipes in this machine - the machine seems to small for those recipes. I love the dough setting- makes making cinnamon buns SO easy. Have patience when you first buy this. Your first loaf will suck if youre brand new. Make sure you put your salt and sugar in on the sides of the inside of the machine so they fall down into the liquid when it starts. Make a small well in the top of the flour mound and put the yeast IN the little well. Make sure your liquids are warm when you put them in .
