Clock Mechanism Replacement, Quartz Clock Movement Mechanism Replacement Battery Operated DIY Repair Parts Replacement (A(Thread Length 5/32inch))

Our clock mechanism went out on a beautiful Asian themed wall clock that we just loved. It was easy to take apart and remove the old mechanism. I was looking for an exact duplicate which was actually easy to find among a lot of different configurations on Amazon and the pictures and measurements on Amazon perfectly matched what we had to remove. This arrived promptly, had all the little parts and went back together in a few minutes. Just need to be sure it matches exactly, though it seems to be a common mechanism in these single battery operated clocks. We were quite pleased.

Buyer don't make the same mistake as I did. The minute and hour hands did not fit the "shafts" on this replacement mechanism. My minute hand had flattened sides to hold the minute hand in place during rotation. The hour hand was too small for the new shaft. I repurchased a different mechanism that came with new minute, hour and second hands. I'll keep this mechanism since the new minute, hour and second hands will fit my new clock mechanism.

Wish they made these universal like pipe fittings. Had to rig from other movements to get working. FACE hands not interchangeable.

No mounting nut. Would not fit my standard size hands; they do describe the hand mounting and I did not carefully chack, I figured hands were standard, my bad. But still needed this mounting nut. Also movement looked sort of small and skimpy. Will reorder a heavier duty movement.

The court clock does work, but I did not realize it did not come with the hands. I had to use the hands on the old clock and they keep hitting each other so it is a challenge to make it continue working if anyone orders it make sure you order hands to go along with it

Great for bringing back antique or just used garage sale clocks back to life.

91% accurate is a bit out of spec for a clock, you think! It is installed correctly, no friction anywhere. The problem is repeatable twice a day, on the clock. What a waste of money.
