Most magical house sitter since Mary Poppins!

Bought it for the artist of "A Fly Went By". I get the joke, its just not very funny and too over-the-top, even for a child. The artistic style is dated and not very interesting.

You probably read Amelia Bedlia as a child. They are great fun but you will need to explain about people having maids or help in the house! Just not something children would come across very often these days! But the play on words and how Amelia gets it wrong but is an amazing smiley happy face all through. Great for young readers to understand double meanings on words!
