desertcart.com : ANGGREK Camera Belt Clip Waist Belt Holster Holder 1Pc Camera Hanger 1/4in Screw Mount Quick Release Waist Belt Buckle Holder for DSLR : Electronics Review: great affordable mount - i really enjoyed using this product. ive had two because i am really rough on them but i dont want to buy a hundred dollar one... it fit in tripod mount for my camera perfectly an cep the camera secure while i was canyoneering, flying paragliders, running and falling in sand. its easy to use and intuitive when its new, as you wear it out you have to angle the camera to release the lever and you have to actuate the lever to stow the camera Review: Worth the $ - I’m a pro photographer and use them in combo with a strap. Wouldn’t trust without strap. The latch will go first, the metal will deform next. But, they last at least one season of hard use and prevent my cameras from flopping around. So I would recommend… just have realistic expectations

Belt loop cracked off after 2 months of light use.
I am an insurance adjuster so I have to take pictures of homes all the time. On the roof my cell phone would overheat so I started using a Panasonic Lumix which is great but I hated the neckstrap. So I clipped this on my belt and problem solved. The latch can clip the camera in every time or be kept open so the camera can more easily be slipped out. Works like a champ. I wish they had a version that clipped on the belt though since I have to weave it on and off my belt or have a dedicated belt. ***March 2023 update: the new thumb catch started malfunctioning about 2 weeks ago since the cheap plastic broke inside. Then the belt clip broke on one side as you can see from the photos. All this occurred a few weeks after the return window so Amazon says I’m out of luck. Maybe the company will send me a new one made out of aluminum which would be a much sturdier design. A heavy duty removable belt clip option would be ideal so I don’t have to weave it on my belt each time.

Not practical for a typical SLR/Mirrorless camera
i do street photography almost exclusively with a rangefinder and i don't like the camera off the neck looking like a tourist. The clip is ideal for rangefinder/small sized cameras. Heaver cameras, especially with a big lenses feel too heavy hanging off a belt. I wouldn't risk an expensive mirrorless camera and lens hanging off a belt clip...

Quality of the material feels really fragile
Looks nice easy to use but the quality of the material feels really cheap

Survived a summer of hikes
I have had this for about a summer now, I really prefer it to a neck strap while hiking. It has held up very well with my DSLR camera and 300 mm lens while climbing over trees and off of rockledges seems pretty durable so far. I've probably hiked about 40 mi with it and only had to tighten up the ball one time.

Feels meh
Fits my Sony cameras great but it feels unstable. The lock button seems intermediary functional but it’s easy to use and works as said just not very trustworthy

quality has gone downhill
bought this product twice before and loved it. bought it again and the quality is terrible. broken before the end of the day. I guess I have to go buy the name brand version for 4x the cost.

Works exactly like it should
For the price, I figured if I got most of one day use out of it it would be worth it. Got through the entire day and night with it and looking forward to using it again. I never even noticed it being on my belt all day, and when I needed my hands free quickly the camera was always right beside me to grab just as quickly again. I use to always use the neck strap on my camera, now it’ll always be the holster. Used was a dSLR with battery grip and flash.

Rusty clip
After about 2 months of very very very light usage. Seriously barely used this, the clip is rusted and weak. I realise it was a cheap alternative to others, but that’s unacceptable.

I have this permanently on my belt now.
The main black part, it's not metal, but plastic, but a very good and very strong plastic and there are no concerns about its strength, because it's as strong as you will ever need it to be! It's also light. It wasn't expensive and I didn't think it'd going to be stellar or anything like that, but it turned out to work amazingly well. Better than expected even. I can securely place my second camera body on my belt in a pinch. It's locking mechanism ensures my camera isn't going to come loose, and it's easy to unlock and detach without any difficulty.

Not durable.
As other reviews have said, the retention mechanism has failed on mine after a couple months of use. I do not recommend this product.
