Red Clay Spicy Peach Honey

This honey/hot sauce is spicy. If you like a a hint of peach honey with a kick this is it. A little goes a long way. Excellent on yogurt or toast.

We *Highly* Recommend Red Clay Hot Honey! We found it to be far more flavorful than other brands, yet spicy! Other brands are just over-the-top hot - without flavor. This is our GO TO Hot Honey we discovered when visiting Charleston!

The product arrived crystalized, the inside seal was slightly open, and I can't speak to the taste because I was reticent to try it. While I know how to de-crystalize honey, I should not have to do so at the price-point of $9.99 for 9 ounces. Not one drop of the product trickled out the bottle after turning it upside down. Honey typically crystalizes in cold weather which is not the case here. Also, wildflower honey (like this product) has a low point for crystalizing unlike clover and alfalfa.

So I wanted to start this by saying I thought I was ordering there hot sauce. That. Being said, it was a happy mistake. It is so good drizzling it on a breakfast sandwich with eggs or even and English muffin with cottage cheese. It was good quality, not crystallized like problems others have had. Very delicious

It’s a bit funky. My preference now is straight up hot honey. Tastes are subjective so I’m sure there’s lots of folks who love this product. There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just not my fave. Sent a bottle to family also and they love it.
