Is the #1 combo bit the same as an ECX bit?

Yes. It has the Robertson square-drive middle and a "flat head" blade that projects out from two opposing corners. I'm a DYI'er, but I did all the electrical work on my daughter's new stable and this was my go-to tool because of the Combo bit. The only thing I found sub-par was the ratchet knob which I still can't set one-handed due to it's smoothness. I've just gotten used to using my left hand to change the ratchet direction.

The handle was separated from the rachet. I changed it for a new one and now have the same issue,is that normal?

No this is not normal. My screwdriver handle did not separate from the ratchet.

Can you use this as a normal screwdriver (without using the ratcheting function)? Im hoping to lock it into place and only use as a 15 in 1. Thanks

Yes, there is a middle position which locks so it will operate as a regular screwdriver. Very pleased with. .

Is the bits magnetic?

Good Morning, For this item i am not completely sure that the bits are magnetic but i do know for sure that the shaft of the screwdriver is magnetic. Thank you so much for your patience, Victoria Homelectrical Support Member

Muito prática e versátil, permite trabalhar com diferentes tipos de parafusos sem precisar carregar várias ferramentas. A construção é robusta, o cabo oferece ótima pegada e proporciona conforto durante o uso. Os bits têm bom encaixe e facilitam bastante o trabalho no dia a dia. All around useful tool

I don't usually write reviews but I find them handy when choosing tools. This screwdriver sits nicely in the cargo pocket of my work uniform and it's not too heavy or bulky. It has most of the bits to troubleshoot appliances or perform minor repairs, without having to run back to the truck 80% of the time. With all the bits removed you have a 1/4" ratcheting driver that can remove the back panel of most appliances in seconds. I carry this tool with me all day, every day.
