Fixed Leak on my favorite blender!
Was shipped quicker than stated! Works perfect. No more leaking. 5 min to install. Two 7/8" sockets, a 3/8" socket, and extention bar made life easy. Watch the torque because glass. Also the big nut on bottom is opposite tread. Small acorn nut is normal tread.

Better Than Factory
This is a replacement for the blender cutting blade and gaskets. My glass carafe was fine, but the gaskets had begun to leak. This appears to be a factory quality replacement. For DIYer's PLEASE NOTE: 1) the bottom nut that holds the gaskets and large washers is purposefully tightened counterclockwise (or if you prefer the "lefty loosey" mnemonic, it is "lefty tighty"). This is not uncommon since the blade turns clockwise (looking into the carafe) and it would loosen the nut with use otherwise. Everything else is "clockwise" or "righty tighty". The carafe is difficult to clean of the old gaskets because there isn't much space to get your hand in. The bottom gaskets were straightforward. Mine kit came with a spare washer to squeeze the gaskets. If you try to use it, the bottom nut won't fit. Don't overtighten or you'll risk cracking the carafe. Mine worked fine after installing… no leaks.

Fits perfectly, easy to install, and no leaks
Fits perfectly, easy to install, no leaks, and a great value compared to a new container or blender. Keep your appliances as long as possible and fix it yourself.

OEM quality - no instructions
The blade assembly itself gets 5 stars. There are many parts which need to go in a specific order… no instructions supplied with shipment. Googled for way to long and finally found the assembly order.

Perfect replacement part, even better than just replacing o-rings
This is the complete cutting assembly with all washers and the many needed sealing o-rings. My blender jar had begun to leak, even with the assembly periodically tightened. I was going to replace just the o-rings (there are 4) but decided to try the entire assembly of 18 pieces, not including the blender jar or top. Glad I did because the new, much sharper, blades, have made a positive difference to blended drinks. PRO's: perfect replacement parts, crazy easy to install, almost a new blender for only a Jackson. CON's: getting old assembly out of blender jar can be problematic. To remove old assembly, most instructions have you remove the wagon wheel coupling on the bottom of the jar by stuffing the jar with a towel to keep the blades from turning, and unscrewing the coupling. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. The coupling was screwed to the shaft more strongly than the cap nut on the top of the shaft inside the blender and that cap nut came off first. So what to do? After removing the cap nut and blades, put a long piece of wood against the top of the shaft and tap (not pound, not ram, just tap) the wood until the shaft comes out the bottom. Yes, there is a risk of breaking the bottom of the glass jar, but I saw no other way of removing the coupling. After the shaft is removed, us a 7/8" wrench on the bottom and 7/8" socket and extension inside to hold the respective nuts. This nut is reverse-threaded, like a propane tank connection, so clockwise loosens (the opposite of "lefty-loosey, righty-tighty"). I have two of these glass blender jars and I replaced the cutting assembly on both. The first took about 15 minutes to figure it out, the second took less than 3.

The function was great
Perfect fit. I had to cut the old blade out but the new one went in without a problem.

Second time I’ve bought this.
My blender is 20 years old and the only thing that fails on it is the blade assembly. It’s the second time I’ve replaced it.

Fix don’t replace!
Way better than buying a new blender. When a part of our many-years-old but well-functioning blender wore out, we thought it might be time to replace it. I checked Amazon and found the replacement t part for 1/4 of the cost of a new machine. It arrived in two days, was installed in two minutes and the unit is good to go again.
