Not sure if the hilux has the same mirrors as the Tacoma? Could add the hilux to your Amazon garage and see if it fits.

Why does Drivers not do the sequential?

Drivers don't do the sequential because they have both hands on the wheel. But guess what? The actual lights do sequentially tell you what direction you're going. I have this on my 2021 Rav4 trd off road and love them.

Compatible with all 2019 to 2021 Toyota Generation 5 RAV4’s.

Will this work on 2022 Tacoma sr5 4x4?

I don't believe the SR5 comes with the LED signal in the mirror; at least they didn't in 2021. If you have the factory one there, it will be plug and play. If not, there won't be any existing wiring to connect this to.
