It's worth it
I have a love/hate relationship with Ninja products - I really love them. But I strongly dislike the warranty. And I hate the lifespan. Once they are done - they're done. I have had a couple of Ninja blenders that surpass the crushing and blending power of my 30 year old beehive Oster - but their life expectancy is about five years. This was a very strong consideration in purchasing a $200 coffee maker. I am not a coffee connoisseur - I typically drink one cup daily - very strong with cream only. But it has to be a perfect cup. I want to enjoy every single sip. I found a Ninja coffee system, brand new, at a thrift store locally for $15. The coffee was amazing. Perfect every single time. When my son moved to his own place, I gifted it to him and started researching one for me. Since I am the only coffee drinker in the house now (no, I'm not crying because he's gone, don't be silly) I considered a Keurig. But I honestly do not like the quality of the coffee from those machines - have tried several but it is not at all to my liking. However, the amount of wasted coffee I was dealing with really started bothering me and decided I needed an option for one cup. This machine is really perfect. The one cup option that I thought I settled for because it is a K cup option turned out to produce an amazing cup of coffee. I THINK it is because the Ninja makes three holes into the K cup rather than the standard one hole other machines use? It may also be the water temperature gets super hot. I do not know, but I really appreciate the depth of flavor from the K cup option on this machine. Another nice option that I never thought I'd want is the frother. It seems silly to me, but one comment in the Ninja manual stated that a cold cup with cream steals the heat from the coffee and changes the flavor - so I toyed around with the frother, using the microwave for 30 seconds and then blending the coffee and cream - its fantastic. This week I had a fever and opted for tea over coffee - I remembered the hot water option on this machine - it gave me two options - hot water and boil - I selected boil and my tea was steeping in no time at the perfect temperature. I absolutely appreciate that the water runs through a separate dispenser so my tea did not have any coffee residue or discoloration or flavor. I plan now to retire my stand alone boiler. The reservoir on the Ninja is adequate for my one cup daily - it is very easy to remove and fill or even fill while in place - I prefer the side option, but like that it can be attached to the back to save space. I don't think that would make much difference because this machine is very big - it does not fit under my standard cabinets. I bought this as a birthday gift for myself and if that last son hadn't left at the same time, I likely wouldn't have spent that much money on myself - but I was pitiful. I am extremely happy I did because the cost is worth it. I am very hopeful this machine will last past my 5 year expectation. Since I do not purchase coffee daily, I cannot state that I have saved money - I mean, I have because I'm not making half pots just for myself and wasting most of that - but if I were a coffee shop customer, I would absolutely think I'd save money with the frother thing and the quality of the coffee - It is really a great machine and I very highly recommend you purchase it. I was debating between the Keurig Duo Pro and this machine and given the quality of the K cup coffee from this, I haven't once looked back - there is no way in my mind the Keurig would produce the same quality cup from the K cups. Enjoy

Easy to use and great machine!
I love this coffee maker! I couldn’t decide between this or a kuerig but decided to go with a Ninja because they seem to have less problems. I love that I can use it to make hot tea or cocoa using the hot water function without it passing through where the coffee is. It’s pretty quick, kind of loud but I don’t mind it. So many functions and I use the delay brew every day. I like that I can make a full carafe, just a cup, or even use a kcup. The only thing is I wish I would’ve waited till Black Friday to purchase since it was almost half off. It’s a little expensive but worth it.

Excellent machine, great coffee, killer hot chocolate.
Once my Keurig’s lid quit staying closed when trying to brew a cup I started looking for a new coffee maker. After researching and reading all the positive reviews I decided to get the Ninja Dual Brew pro. I got the bundle with the permanent filter. Upon receiving the coffee maker and reading thru the manual I set it up. cycled it, then brewed a k cup and enjoyed a perfect hot cup of coffee. I then later brewed a pot of coffee. I love that it has the heating element that keeps the craft piping hot. I then went to use the frother, though it doesn’t heat the milk, it’s just a minute zap in the microwave to heat the milk and then froth. I am now enjoying the best coffee I’ve ever made at home. I also like that it has a separate hot water dispenser that doesn’t run the water through where the coffees made. I’ve made killer hot chocolate that doesn’t taste like coffee. Though the machine doesn’t make espresso, it does have settings to make a very rich and dark coffee perfect for cappuccinos. Concluding I am very pleased with the unit with zero regrets of the purchase. There’s a little learning curve with it, but it is easy to learn and use. I’d definitely recommend one.

Love this coffee maker
Had been a Keurig user for nearly 20 years. This Ninja dual coffee maker is a game changer. Love love love it. Makes a great cup of coffee using either single serve or the carafe. Very easy to operate. Very user friendly. They thought of everything from the strength of the coffee, the easy lift on the water dispenser, the drip shut off so the plate stays clean after you are done brewing, controls that are simple to operate, piping hot coffee, self clean feature. I cannot say enough good things about it. It leaves Keurig in the dust. If you are on the fence, just do it, you won’t regret buying this machine.

Great all in one coffee maker
I have always been a fan of ninja products, in fact probably at least half my kitchen appliances are ninja so I was excited to get this all in one coffee maker that could not only handle drip coffee but also k cups and has a separate switch for hot or boiling water. For me that means replacing 3 different items on my counter which is a huge win so that's one awesome design. The coffee quality on the drip has been fantastic and you have multiple sizes to choose from brewing, I like brewing a carafe and it definitely holds a lot, the glass is good thickness and maintains heat for quite a while even when the stay warm is not on so that is nice. I like the drop down tray for just a cup brewing so you don't get a lot of splash back from a long drop. The water dial on the left to switch it to hot or boiling water using a separate pipe then the one used to pump coffee through is wonderful and ensures no extra coffee ground in your boiling water for tea or oatmeal or whatever else you want to use the boiling/hot water for. The only problem I've had is the K cup adapter that fits in the tray and allows you to brew pods has failed on me once. I suspect the pipes inside the adaptor got clogged and the machine would make a terrible loud noise when trying to brew a pod and then nothing would happen. I had to call ninja and did a quick video chat with them and it was covered under warranty. That's the only reason I took one star off was because the pod adaptor seems to be prone to failure as I've already had it replaced twice. Granted each time ninja has been stellar in taking care of the problem and honoring the warranty. That being said the design of this machine is awesome and even with the few smaller problems I've experience I have no regrets and would definitely buy this machine again for the versatility in brewing pretty much whatever you want. Ninja stands by their products and I do as well

So far so good
I've had the Cuisinart, The Hamilton Beach, and now this Ninja model. Each of the other two died within a year and I'm hoping for better luck with this one. I really like the features. The frother works perfectly and is very easy to clean The water dispenser is easily removed and replaced and the fill lines are easily visible. The single serve goes from 2oz for boiling water, to a 26 Oz mug. And there are 3 brew styles. I not only brew a great cup of coffee, but my afternoon tea is exactly as I like it. I only use the pot when the family is home and there are no complaints. Unless it, too, has a very short life span, I highly recommend this coffee machine.

3-in-1 dream machine
This is a dream coffee maker that has taken the place of three appliances in my kitchen. The coffee part is really easy to use and intuitive. The directions are clear and it’s really easy to get it set up to brew. You can brew multiple amounts from regular ground beans—as little as 4 oz. Perfect for a midday pick me up without wasting a whole pot. It comes with a scoop that’s marked with the amount of coffee you need—no need to guess. If you want to be fancy you can put in the k-cup adapter and also brew those, but I like just using my regular beans instead. If you want to level up your coffee, the milk frother is easy to use. If you don’t want coffee; you can also get hot or boiling water—up to 60 ounces—that comes through a different valve so you don’t contaminate it with coffee flavor. With this purchase, I was able to retire my water kettle, my cofffee maker and my keurig.

Great Overall. Beware of Pod Adaptor.
I purchased this ninja for a few reasons. It 1) brews single cups and pots, 2) has a separate water reservoir, 3) it handles k-cups, and 4) has a timer. I am 99% happy with this purchase. It makes coffee as well as any other brewer I've had before and has all the features that I was looking for. I am especially thrilled with the carafe. My previous one drooled and spilled if I didn't pour it just right. This carafe has no such problem. Also, it has a funnel to the bottom of the carafe, so the brewed coffee goes straight the bottom of the pot first, ensuring a well-mixed pot. My model (cfp307) came with a permanent filter which I never use. I don't like the sediment produced when a paper filter is not used. It also has a frother that I would never use. At the time, this model cost less than the model without the filter and frother however. One that that I am not happy about is the K-cup attachment. This model used to come with a 3 pin system, for which I have a reusable 3-pin, k-cup pod. However, I received the "improved" version with a single pin. Not only doesn't it fit the triple pin reusable pod, but it also doesn't fit a single pin reusable pod. The pin in the Ninja adaptor seems to be slightly off center and does not match the hole in the reusable pod I have. From Ninja, when asked about the change: "We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please note that we recently introduced a design update featuring an improved needle for better saturation.". I could not find any alternative as of yet.
