What exactly is the purpose of the two little bumps on the bottom side? Is there something I'm missing?

No, it seems to be just for looks in the design. It serves no purpose.

How do i getthe mounting screws that u did not inclulde as specified in the ordering detail?

To be honest I went to Home Depot and got inch and a half self tapping screws and they worked perfect and also put double sided tape first to hold it in place then put the screws
