Super easy to install and use!
Very easy to install. Super user friendly. Has a nice quality video. The only thing that took maybe 10 minutes to figure it out was sending the invitation to my wife so she can have access to the doorbell app, not just me. Oh, and you if you leave on a main street that has high traffic, you are not ready for the notifications. What I mean by that is that the doorbell sense people really fast and if the it's set up for that, you'll get a notification for every person that passes by your house. I had to set the sensor to the lowest level, and even with that it still so good at detecting people. Also, there's no need to put the SD card into the Chime, just place it into the doorbell and you have the recordings available on your phone through the app. But if you want to you can put one into the Chime, but that means you'll have to buy 2 SD cards. But everyone is different. Anyway, this is one good doorbell and the price range is acceptable compared to others.Regarding the battery, I only lost 1% so far and it has been on for 5 days. So is going to be a while till the battery runs out of juice. And to avoid any headaches, i bought a second battery as a backup when i need to charge the first one. But with the way things are going I don't think is going to happen soon. Also, Night vision, crisp quality, but depends what lighting you have in your area, still it performs very well.Overall, I am glad that I bought this doorbell, now I don't have to worry that I will not hear when someone knocks atthe door.

Almost but not quite perfect.
Based on my experience, you'll need to have a little bit of patience with this. Out of the box, in my living room, it worked straight away. I was charging the doorbell camera and getting notifications every time I walked past it, so I screwed the unit to the wall and sure enough it went off when the neighbours came out of their front door and walked past. The problems started when they came home. Walking up our path is very hit and miss. Anyway, to cut a long story short so as not to bore anyone, I got in touch with the makers and it turns out that (in common with a lot of these security devices it seems) anyone walking directly towards the camera might not be detected. Unfortunately our path is pretty much perfectly aligned so that it may or may not record. Don't screw it to the wall until you've found the best position, and try it with and without the angle mount. The bell works, the motion detector works if I change it to pick up all motion and not just humans, but of course then it goes off every time a car goes by and it still might not pick up people walking up our path. You can probably set an activity zone to cover your own circumstances, and I'm just unlucky. It's a really good picture, and it's a really good doorbell (which records when it's pressed). I don't think many people will be as unlucky as me, and I have another Eufy camera (a solar powered one) which is absolutely brilliant and picks up everything as it should. So it's definitely our front path that's at fault. In other news, the chime records the video onto its memory card so no subscription is involved. We have an Eero 6 Pro router which broadcasts on both 2.4 and 5GHz bands, and it picked up the two units immediately even though they only operate on 2.4GHz.It's a good bell, it's our front garden that's to blame.

Good doorbell, battery life could be better
Overall, I really like this video doorbell. The video is quite clear, it was easy enough to set up and connectivity is fine. It is also small and just went next to our front door on the frame. I like especially that videos are just saved locally, no need for any subscription. I do think the battery life could be better. It consistently needs charging, which can take half a day. It is my only complaint though, and I think the lack of subscription makes up for it. I would recommend this video doorbell.

Great doorbell without being complicated
Great doorbell with reliability!Mounting the doorbell is easy and the camera is durable in all conditions. I’ve not experienced any fogging or water drop on the lenses. This model allows the battery to be changed quickly so I’d recommend having a spare battery. Configuration of the doorbell is easy and the application guides you well through the settings should you need to adjust anything. The night vision is great and it’s easy to make out people and other objects even with low light.I found the doorbell is more responsive without the Homebase and connected just to WiFi. There is also a cool feature that calls your phone when the button is pressed which makes answering the bell when driving very easy !

READ THIS BEFORE you buy! Warning. You must read this!
Sooo I finally bought this after researching tonnes of video doorbells. Eufy looked like the best option as it is “ADVERTISED” as “LOCAL STORAGE”. Why am I shouting? Just wait for it, its insane. So listen to this, I am setting up the doorbell and you have to register with eufySecurity via the app. I register, and it tells me it is sending me a verification email. I wait, no email arrives. I check Junk Mail, no email. I try to log in to eufySecurity, it says I haven’t verified the email address. I double check everything, and try again. It gives me an option to “resend” the verification email. I tell it to resend. I wait. No email. Nothing! Been an hour now, and I can’t even register the app let alone set up the doorbell! What a waste of an evening. BUT THERES MORE!!! I go online to see if anyone has this issue - turns out that if eufy servers are down (and judging by people complaining on Twitter/Reddit the servers go down a lot for lengthy periods of time), YOU CAN NOT view your recordings, get doorbell notifications, or ANYTHING!!! They advertise all this as “LOCAL STORAGE” which doesn’t “rely on the cloud” yet if their shoddy servers go down then YOUR WHOLE HOME SECURITY SYSTEM goes down! You can’t view recordings or anything!!!! How on earth is this legal if they advertise this so aggressively as “Local Storage does not rely on the cloud”?? Even the packaging has stuff about the cloud being as “secure as a cloud”. What a disaster and what a let down! I made this evening free to install the doorbell, maybe I should just pack it all up and get a refund. Never expect eufy to lie to us, but I was obviously wrong. Don’t believe me? Google eufySecurity servers and read the horror stories. There are even people who can’t go in to or out of their houses due to not being able to arm/disarm their eufySecurity systems. The app (same app this doorbell uses) becomes unusable when servers go down, and their customer service is shockingly bad (again, Google it, you’ll see the complaints). People are even complaining being trapped in their houses as the eufySecurity “server is down” so they can’t disarm their front doors to leave the house! A major flaw and deceitful marketing, this product is dead in the water.

High quality product for reasonable price and easy to set up
Relatively easy to set up. Only got a little confused when it asks you to connect to Home Hub, which I didn’t have. NOTE Home Hub also refers to your Chime door bell, took me a while to figure that one out as to the reason I wasn’t getting video. (Five stars to customer service for their help too btw, although I figured it out myself in the end they were very pleasant and professional).Love that it also has a Face Capture. When someone is walking past and too quick or hooded to see, the Capture feature gives a clear snapshot of their face.Highly recommend.

Nothing to fault, great buy!
This is a great bit of kit. It ticked all my boxes on requirements, and in fact more due to the compatibility with home Alexa setup. The doorbell is sturdy built and smart looking, very easy to setup, just take it one step at a time. I purchased a separate MicroSD card and mistakingly bought a 512gb card, it takes max 128gb MicroSSD so I had to get another, mentioned so no one else does it :-)The app on the phone is slightly sluggish to connect to the doorbell, even within range, but not an issue as it alerts fine and connects instantly when the bell is rung. I read battery is an issue, however, I charged mine to full when I unbowed it, and it's now been up 15 days and has only gone down to 74%, so unless you are sitting there watching the neighbours throughtl it constantly, battery life doesn't seem an issue at all.The additional plusses are no subscription and it's portable (I haven't hard wired it but everything to do so is supplied, with jumpers to use existing cabling) - as I plan to move soon.

Okay most of the time, but prone to notification delays
We purchased this video doorbell as a supplement to our existing ip camera system, with the aim of using the two way talk feature to communicate with people at the door step.Set up was a little painful as it refused to connect to our wifi network despite it being 2m away from the wifi router. We tried several different locations until it finally worked, took a couple of hours. Our wifi network is rock solid and strong throughout the house, so we should not have had these issues. As a video doorbell it records decent quality footage, and the two way audio works well, with only a 1 second delay. The chime itself works fine and we've configured the Echo Dot in our bedroom to also inform us of someone at the door, which seems to work without issue.Initially we had the doorbell configured with motion detection ('beta' power option), but battery was dropping by 2% every day despite minimal foot traffic and no accidental triggers, so would probably need recharging in less than 2 months. As we have an ip camera trained at the front door we decided to turn off motion detection on the door bell and only receive notifications when the bell was actually pressed. Since then the battery loss is negligible (unsurprisingly!), so I think we'll get somewhere nearer the advertised 180 days this way, but obviously you are disabling one of the main features of the doorbell. With motion detection 'off' it still records video, but only when the doorbell is pressed. The biggest issue is that while notifications typically come through to your phone within approx 1 or 2 seconds of someone ringing the bell, they are sometimes randomly delayed by anything from 30 seconds to a few minutes! I assume the notifications are channelled through some far off server run by Eufy/Anker, so are reliant on them processing the notifications in a timely manner. If the delays continue we'll be returning this as we need notifications to be reliable and timely, otherwise we would just get a cheap 'dumb' door bell. Finally regarding two way talk, it sounds good in theory but the reality is when you get the notification, you have to pull out your phone, click on the notification, it fires up the app, there's normally a pause while the live camera loads, and so on, so the whole process can take quite a while and some people will have probably already given up and left by the time you are ready to speak to them. So not as useful a feature as I expected. Not really an issue with the doorbell itself, more a limitation of trying to manage something like this through your phone.

Excellent dual-camera doorbell with impressive clarity!
This eufy E340 kit is an outstanding video doorbell. The dual-camera setup is a game-changer—having one camera for face-level view and a second camera pointing down completely eliminates blind spots and lets you see packages clearly at your doorstep.Highlights:Crisp Image Quality: The 2K FHD resolution delivers sharp, clear video during the day and excellent night vision.Smart & Fast Detection: Motion tracking is fast and accurate, capturing events instantly without missing key moments.Built-in Storage & Removable Battery: Having built-in 8GB storage is great for local recording right out of the box without hidden fees, and the removable battery makes recharging super convenient. If you are looking for a reliable, feature-packed doorbell with great clarity and zero fuss, this one is worth every penny!

The customer service is totally unacceptable!!!!
The doorbell camera failed following heavy rain, becoming completely unusable due to severe condensation that blurred the lens. After returning the faulty device, the customer service was appalling14 days later, I have received no refund, no replacement, and am still without a working doorbell camera, on top of that the app consistently crashing/freezing!!! The customer experience was unacceptable. Avoid this product and company at all costs!!!!!

Great value when you consider no subscription
We purchased this doorbell specifically because it didn’t need to be wired to previous doorbell and because there were no subscription fees. It took a little while to get it working properly to record but that was due to a faulty SD card and to no fault of the camera itself. I love that you can see the events and that you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to do so. Picture quality is great and the app is quite user friendly. The only thing that could improve on our end is the motion detection being quicker. We have ours aimed down our stairs and the motion detection set to high but if a delivery driver is super quick to drop off a package, the camera misses the event. This may be solve-able if we were to move the camera to another location but we have it covering the hole in our house from our old doorbell so we prefer not to move it. Otherwise, it’s a great camera. Battery life doesn’t last quite as long as we had hoped but it’s chargeable and super easy to do so has caused us no issues.
