Is the milk heated/frothed in the container with heat flowing via the connector, or is the milk "sucked" into the machine and heated/frothed there?

The milk container itself does not get warm, so I believe all heating happens inside the machine. The frothing does happen as it emits from a spout attached to the milk container.
