I colored my hair with intense mocha and its too dark how can I lighten it and how soon cam I do it

It may take a few tries... wait about a month to color again you don’t want your scalp to go through such chemical process so soon, make sure your hair is very dirty (Don’t wash for a week) before you reapply. It may lighten color after the second or 3rd try... which means you would have to dye the hair once a month for 3 months

Is there a number to indicate which colors have the red tones to it?

Ok. I noticed that when I was looking at the chestnut brown(apparently now aka golden macadamia for some reason)I scrolled down the page to find out what the deal was with the conundrum I'm having with this bi-named color and found a sort of menu that tells you about the black to red and red to blonde colors and numbers. I did get some reddish tones but not extreme. I'd prefer some blonde though.
