Perfect if you're single
The product installs very easily, and is very effective. No worries about it self-closing unintentionally. When in the locked position, there is NO way to bypass the lock. The one problem occurs when not everyone is home and someone (by habit) flips it shut. For that reason, I'd recommend this for people who live alone in apartment buildings (where tradespeople (strangers) sometimes have to enter your unit), but not so much for bigger families.

Easy Install Good Quality Lock Reinforcement
This device is easy to install and works as described. It seems to be an easy way to secure the dead bolt from picking the lock.

Simple design that works like a charm!
Exactly what we needed to keep our dogs from locking us out!The ultra simple design made for an incredibly easy install. Loosened the two screws on existing deadbolt and slipped the backing rings in place, tightened screws and that was it!All solid steel design is excellent quality. No plastic or gears to shred. Can't beat the price either! We have ours positioned so our dogs cannot tap the deadbolt lever to lock out of the house without our keys. Lever stays locked in the open position.Security Flap opens effortlessly and the lever can easily be turned into the lock position at night or whenever.Highly recommended!

Does the Job
Very adaptable to thumbturn styles. Secures the deadbolt from being opened from outside. Easy installation.

Very secure
It is very sturdy and the quality is excellent. It was very easy to install. I was a little concerned about whether the lever would stay in place when it wasn’t in use, but it’s very tight and is not a problem.
